"Friendly greeting from host upon arrival. Room was clean. View from the balcony overlooking the river was beautiful and the stars at night were incredible. Parking can be a little tight when the hotel is full, but it's minor and I'd still highly recommend this hotel if you're staying in Kernville."

"Location and service are the best. It's a stones throw away from the entrance to Sequoia Nat'l Park and a full bar is great to return to after a day of hiking. The staff go out of their way to be helpful, and restaurant breakfast and dinner were pretty good! The view over the river from the restaurant was nice. Only complaints were that previous guests left half eaten food in our dresser and a used washcloth that had not been cleaned out before we checked in, and the rooms are a little...
