Nice hotel in great location

Bed is a little hard but otherwise this is a great hotel! Brilliant pool too!

Great Food

Cons: The lift tries to decapitate you when you step inside
Location: Need a Tuk Tuk to get anywhere but a good supermarket next door
Nice view and great food. Reception staff were friendly

Spacious for families traveling

The check in was not smooth as hotels.com room description was for sea and city views while the hotel contended that it could be sea OR city view. Thankfully one resourceful employee - Amanda - was able to resolve the issue. The service apartments were fantastic from the inside but the outside area was very bare and unattractive. Also there I see a balcony listed but it was locked so could not be accessed.

Predominantly failures with patchy goodness

Booking- failure due to computer based e booking of flights n hotels dividing a family with 4 kids to two apartments when we could have stayed in a 3 bed apartment with a cot. The hotel failed to rectify this blaming it on expedia The word deluxe was meant basic standard which was misleading. There was minimal cutlery and cookware. Internet was non existent few meters away from router. The only good thing was the restaurant and food. Chef Rohan and Sue Chef Pramila catered to our needs all the time.

Perfect in downtown colombo

Nothing more to ask for. Though we stayed for a short time, we were happy with the facilities and the restaurant. The staff was co-operative and service requests were responded promptly.

Excellent

Everything was very good . it had an amazing view we had a great time it was very clean there is only one flaw. I was staying on the 32nd floor but they did not open the balcony doors the Beauty of pent houses is the view and the balcony but they refuse to open the balcony doors for us. Please try to open the balcony doors near future.
