We came as tourists, but a number of guests were here on business. It’s clean and just a 5-10 minute walk from the central train station. It’s a $5 am Uber ride from Old Town. An easy walk to the Palace of Culture and Science—which has no exhibitions really but an observation tower. Room was ok-typical business hotel room. Shower could have been better—very little pressure when shower on, but it was ok. Was fine for our 4 night stay with plenty of breakfast options. Nice staff.

Generally, the hotel is ok. But I will never use it again. The furniture is outdated. To turn off the lights you have to walk all over the room and turn it off lamp by lamp. Especially when you’re tired after the long trip, it’s super annoying. And bathtub was dirty

Great location near the central train station, shops and restaurants. Staff we polite and super efficient, great breakfast. All staff spoke some English. A really nice say with amazing value for money, I would highly recommend it.

We chose this hotel due to its proximity to the Warsaw Central train station. Our check in was delayed and there was a considerable wait of approx 3 hours with mixed messages from 2 staff on the day on reasons for the long wait. We finally received the keys at 4.15pm. This was quite frustrating, as we had just come off a 17hour flight. Sadly, the hotel is a bit dated and this left us disappointed considering the higher than average room rate paid, and alternatives available nearby. Food and drink from the hotel restaurant was average. The restaurant staff were friendly. Reception staff on checkout were too busy to acknowledge and say thank you or smile. Overall it was an underwhelming experience and one we will remember for the future to avoid Mercure.

this time, having ordered the same room as the previous three times, it turned out to be completely different, without bathrobes, without hotel mini bathroom accessories, without water in the refrigerator, and also, the beds were smaller, the furniture, carpets and repairs were worse, although I indicated the same options when ordering. also in past visits, my child was given a toy at the reception, it was a very pleasant moment, I always wanted to come back here knowing what to count on. also the girl at the reception when we settled was not very friendly. Although you are great and most of the staff are great.

Dear Madame, I am sorry to hear that your recent stay did not meet your expectations. We carefully analysed your stay history and it turns out that previously you stayed at Superior Rooms, while the most recent reservation was for Standard room. Since your last stay, which was more than a year ago, we’ve taken several steps towards sustainability. Single-use cosmetics were replaced by larger dispensers of ecological products. For almost a year we do not serve bottled water in our guest and meeting rooms. Instead all our room are equipped with a carafes, on each floor there is water dispenser. Now our guests have unlimited access to sparkling and still water. Finally, we recently replaced beds to ensure better comfort for our guest thanks to new mattresses. We stopped at the Winestone restaurant/bar in the late afternoon. We were told to seat ourselves. No one ever came over to give us menu so we could order. We could not get anyone’s attention and left after 20 minutes. We went back at 7:00 since we were hungry. This time the manager waited on us immediately. We told him about the lack of service earlier. The food and service were excellent. The breakfast buffet was one of the best I have had.

Downtown location is a positive, friendly professional staff too. However, the hotel is dated and could use some upgrades. I’ll consider Intercontinental literally next door.
