Better than I expected.
We stayed here for a local hockey tournament and knew the pool was down due to renovations so knowing that ahead of time was a bonus. Staff was very friendly and although the rules state no playing in the halls or mini sticks, they gave us a nice big salon room for the kids to play and adults to gather. Included breakfast was perfect. Sausage, bacon, scrambled eggs, yogurt, cereal, waffle maker etc… it’s an old hotel but it’s clean and beds are comfy for the price as long as your open minded you can’t go wrong. Don’t expect a 5 star hotel and you will be satisfied

They do not have the services they advertise. When we arrived at the place after we were given the key we asked where the pool was and they told us that it was not working (nowhere in the publication it said that it was not working and in the luminous sign at the entrance it said indoor pool). The next morning when we asked for breakfast, we were told that there were only bagels, toast and fruit (again, not a hot breakfast as advertised everywhere), moreover the coffee machine was in front of the reception, far from the breakfast area. The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable but the isolation between the rooms is minimal and you literally hear what the next room is talking about. Hotel useful as a transient hotel, but expensive for what they offer since half of what they promote they don't have.

Hotel is decent, recently “redone” in a lot of areas, others not so much.. pool area could be much cleaner.. has a bad smell. And fixing the sauna would be a good addition. Great breakfast. Good sized rooms, close to the falls. ZERO nightlife in grand falls

Dry convient for a quick overnight stay. Parked right outside the room which is awesome. Especially with door to outside and another to hotel hallway. Breakfast was easy and good with hot choices.

This is a large, older property, 2 storey high motel style where one can park in front of one's room if staying on the main floor. There is no elevator to access the rooms on the second floor but the staff is quick to offer to help. The second floor where we stayed had a very strong musty smell and the carpet looked very old. The room did not smell once we opened the door to the balcony. The bed was comfortable, the room was spacious and the bathroom was partially renovated and very clean. The decor is outdated but for an overnight stay everything was fine. The hotel was quiet at night and provided a good night's sleep. The breakfast that is included is the usual pre-made scrambled eggs and sausages with an assortment of breads and pastries. The coffee was hot and tasted good, the staff was there to help with any issue. This was probably a top notch place when it was first built, it even has a stunning floor to ceiling stone fireplace in the foyer but they no longer burn wood in it... that's too bad! This is the sort of place I use to bring my sons to when we had hockey tournaments: inexpensive, room does the job, breakfast included, nothing fancy.

We did not get the CAA rate on the second night even though the night clerk said she would change it before the morning printout. We had booked a third night on Aug.28 we had to ask the desk clerk to give us bottom room because we were given a top floor. Then we were stuck in a back room which was disappointing since our previous stays had been in a room with a back door to bring your luggage. Also the hot tub was closed down. Other then that the Rodeway Motel was very accommodating. Enjoyed our first stay.
