I stayed here twice before and it was fine. Unfortunately this time the entire town lost its power. Unfortunate situation but as a business they were unprepared for the unexpected. The only lighting was by cellphone at the front desk. We relied on our cellphones as our only source of lights to and from the car and inside our room and needed to charge them in the car. The beds and pillows were cozy but we hardly slept because of the constant beeping from their alarm. I appreciate that they are new owners, they were lovely BUT unprepared for this situation- bottled water and flashlights would have made a world of difference and get a generator for the front desk at the very least. We verbalized our concerns with the owners and asked if our rate would be adjusted accordingly, they said the system was still down and they would do the charge when the power came back. I got charged FULL price and when I sent an email questioning their decision it was ignored. I returned to St George 2 times since this stay and stayed elsewhere on principle. The owners were lovely but chose 1 night of profit over having loyal customers.

We're so sorry to hear about your experience, as they were very new owners (as you mentioned), they were very surprised themselves that the previous owners didn't have a generator. Since this situation they ran to get one incase of any future power outs! As of your email, some emails unfortunately go straight to "junk mail", however if you call our front desk your always sure to get an answer! I'm positive if you call us about this matter we would compensate as promised! We aim to keep our guest happy and feeling at home, again I'm personally so sorry for what had happened.

The kitchenette was poorly stocked, no forks, no bowls. The oven was unusable as the knob was broken off, found the broken knob laying in the cupboard. One of the bifold doors to the kitchenette was missing hardware and it would swing out and hit you as it was only held in place at one end. Numerous rust stains in the toilet bowl, was disgusting.

I had a reservation made through Expedia. When I arrived, the desk clerk told me there was no reservation. I showed her my phone with confirmation. She wouldn’t communicate with me, she just looking at the computer and making calls. She wouldn’t even answer my questions if there was a vacancy. She has horrible communication skills, lacks English skills, rude even after she Finally 30 minutes later, yes I did have a reservation. She should definitely not be working the front desk. I spoke with another front desk clerk when checking out in the morning, she was dismissive with me when I tried to explain my frustration to her. I would never stay there again. As well the tv kept kicking in and out, beds were wore out and probably has never been replaced since the place was built. Not impressed at all with the hotel.

Measured expectations as this property is on the low cost range. Staff is great but property can benefit from upgrades to bedding and AC units which are too loud to sleep comfortably

We had a lovely one-night stay. The place is a bit dated and basic, but a good value. The staff members were wonderfully friendly and helpful. The Continental breakfast was nice, and the park-like setting was great for taking the dog out. We will plan this for our stops in the future.

I was running late one thing after another with flights and rental car issues. The staff were amazing even though I checked in well free midnight. Great customer service. Clean room and great hot shower after a long day! I will be a repeat customer.

Excellent staff but musty rooms
Had stayed there years ago and it was absolutely fine. Staff was excellent. Noted that while clean it was now dated and the rooms were very musty smelling. Even with airflow the smell in both rooms never really dissipated during the one night stay. Rating doesn’t reflect the reality of the hotel’s condition.
