Great location, close to restaurants, shops ,walkable. One of the few hotels on beach side. Pool,hot tub. Not heated though. Pathway to beach. Good breakfast included. Safe,need room card to access . Dog friendly, so many dogs on the beach. Would def. Return !

Perfect for a weekend getaway! The two ladies working at the front desk were very friendly and check in/check out process was seamless. I also loved the private walkway directly to the beach!

Vanessa and Shauna were the best! They are both amazing, beautiful, helpful, kind and just awesome people. I would definitely recommend staying here. It’s right on the beach. Great restaurants. Very walkable.

Their reservation system charged us twice and the duty manager kept arguing with us that it didn't even when we showed them on our banking app. One elevator didnt work but there are no signs posted. The room was pretty basic, the fridge barely worked, there were barely enough towels. As a Hilton Honors member i was pretty disappointed with the hotel and the service.

I have to say that I enjoyed my stay at this place in spite of several issues. First of all, the toilet did not work when I got there. A repair man came up and fixed it and it worked the rest of the stay. But it did act strangely. Next the sink did not drain very well and then the TV remote worked only partially. Also, I would say that the bed was a little on the hard side. But in spite of all this I did like the stay over all. The room was clean and spacious with a balcony. The HVAC worked very well. It was fairly quiet. The breakfast was maybe better than average for this type of establishment. It was right by the beach, so you could easily walk out there. It was fairly close to several restaurants that were pretty good. The Wi-Fi was decent. The staff seemed nice. And the price was not bad. So, in spite of all the shortcomings, I would actually stay at this place again. But it is certainly no luxury place. Expected basic services with basic decor.

The Manager at this property was excellent. It turned out that after our first night there, I found out I had Covid. The manager was so empathetic and helpful and gave us a full refund for, not only the second night reservation, but the reservation we had made through the front desk for the St Augustine tram. We were very happy and went back for our second night so we could visit St Augustine at the end of January.

This is my go to on St. Augustine Beach!! It’s walkable to everything!! It’s clean, the breakfast is good, and the staff are wonderful. Convenient location and near the beach
I stayed here while visiting St. Augustine. The hotel is ver clean and pet friendly. It’s also conveniently located near several restaurants while being only a short drive from the historic center. My only complaint is that I had to request housekeeping to clean my room and the service included a change of towels. It is my experience that housekeeping usually includes a complete room cleaning as well as making the bed.

Nice hotel near the beach
This was a nice hotel and had good service but I had one complaint; when we booked the room it said there would be a microwave in the room but there wasn’t and I travel every month with my 9 year old son. He is very picky about food so when we pick out hotels for each trip we only pick rooms that have a microwave. We would not have stayed at this hotel if we knew this to be the case. Not sure if this was an error by Hampton Inn or Hotels.com but the small details like this can make a major difference in travel plans. We stay at a lot of Hampton Inns and use Hotels.com all of the time plus have a Hilton Honors card and membership as well and have never had this problem with the room description being inaccurate until this trip. Please update room description!!

Ceilings in the hallways filthy and floors were sticky. Walk into our room and you immediately got a horrible smell of dampness covered with bleach. Once again sticky floor in the bathroom and shower had mold and mildew on the wall in certain spots. Glass Sliding door to balcony wouldn't lock and drywall and paint was coming off. And cant forget how noisy it was, other room doors slammed and it felt as if it was your room. No sleep and relaxation while we were there, unfortunately we couldnt find another hotel because all others were booked. Will not stay again or refer anyone else there, staff was accommodating but cant make up for everything else

STAY AWAY RUDE MANAGEMENT
THE MANAGER HERE IS AWFUL so rude and condescending. His name is Travis Dotson and I have never had an issue handled so unprofessionally before. The hotel is nice and clean, we had a nice beach balcony view (a few minor issues but not worth a bad review) but the BED was absolutely horrible. It was think and hard and lumpy and the fitted sheet and cover didn’t fit properly so they kept coming off exposing the mattress and bunching up. We’d tried to get through the night but around 230am decided we couldn’t sleep there and would rather get up and drive an hour home. Downstairs, the gentleman at the desk was super nice and apologized and said sometimes they do get that complaint. Called today to speak to Travis (mgr) who LAUGHED at my husband and called him “buddy” on the phone saying “that’s what you people do” meaning leave and want a refund. We asked for a partial refund or credit to a future stay when they resolved the problem. We were offered Hilton points at the end of the call. We got married at this hotel years ago. Stayed there and loved it. Will never stay there again. PLEASE SAVE YOUR MONEY there are nicer places with much better customer service on the beach.

Weekend Stay
My sister and I had a weekend getaway. Check in and out was super easy and the front desk clerks were wonderful! Breakfast was decent, coffee was readily available and hot. The rooms were nice and clean. My only complaint is the beds were uncomfortable and seemed old. Other than that, we had a lovely time and would definitely come back.

Had balcony room no lock or bar on sliding glass door. Said they had coffee, tea or hot chocolate 24 hours. Coffee and water wasn’t hot at 6 pm. No smoking allowed but people in the next room were smoking pot and smell filled our room.

Excellent location, right on the beach. My room had an ocean view. Staff was friendly and helpful. There were two restaurants right across the street, so I didn’t have to move my car.
