We had a good experience, the staff was very friendly. The restaurant on-site was excellent breakfast was quick and tasty. Pool area was clean and spacious, easy access to beach. Would definitely stay again.

Nice property with a pool. You are steps away from the beach. The carpet seemed a little outdated in the rooms or because of the color just look dirty. For Resort prices I can't say it was worth it. They don't have room service and their tiki bar closes at 8:00. They do have a restaurant open till 11:00 that you can get takeout if you want. If you don't bring your own beach stuff you can rent two chairs and an umbrella for $45 which is outrageous . the balcony with the partial View didn't come with the sliding door it was just an actual swinging door. I was hoping to have more of a open feel to the room.

The property was nice up front but where you actually stay is old and dilapidated. We went to the tiki bar and waited for ten minutes no worker was present so we left. When we checked in the lady told it was a particular view of the ocean not what we expected. Very over priced for quality of property. Very unbelievable that Guy Harvey would be connected to such a ran down property. The bathroom was dirty. The water Spicket was loose and pulled away from the wall. The bathroom mirror is so low I had to stoop down to use it. I am only 6 feet tall. Very disappointed in this so called resort.

The staff was so friendly and accommodating. The room was a good size and the beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed the pool, beach access and of course, the tiki bar. It’s a convenient location being only 4 miles from downtown. There are several restaurants and grocery stores very close. Definitely recommend the property.

We had a nice time at Guy Harvey. It is a great location. The rooms are old and outdated. The lobby and bar/food area is nice and in better shape The food was average to good. Staff was friendly. The pool was nice, it has a great bar. It was AWESOME to be able to walk to the ocean from the pool. Overall, we liked it. Not fancy, but we did enjoy ourselves.

there were too many dogs with owners not cleaning up after them. Walking from the gazeboo down to the beach in barefeet.....the dog in front of us urinated.....the owner did nothing to cover it up. Makes you think....where else did this happene btw my husband and I are animal lovers.....but I dont want to share a hotel with them

Very thin walls!! Nonsmoking rooms are not accurate, horrible smell of marijuana/CBD/weed smoke next door to our room and other areas of the resort. Staff were overall friendly. The overall clientele of guests, however, were not respectful of others. Very disappointed and will not be staying at this resort again.

Great location, Ocean Front property and only 100 yard walk to the beach. My only complaint is that for being labeled as a “Resort” they DO NOT have a Hot Tub!!! I personally probably won’t stay here again for that reason alone. But if you don’t want a Hot Tub then it’s a great spot.

Had a wonderful time on the amazing beach and pool. The area was beautiful and clean . All the dog owners managed thier pets and we loved seeing the fur babies. The resort is older so the rooms and bathroom is small but clean . Loved the trolley into town. Need to plan our next visit as there is still more to see.

Not a clean facility across. They did not clean our room or change the sheets. When we reprted the issue they sent someone and saw him cleaning the room using the same towels he used to clean the toilet to clean the sink and counters.

First time visit to area in mid March for a wedding. Enjoyed the ocean views and close proximity to the beach, taking walks and sitting, it was too cold for swimming. The staff were all very friendly and the on-site little restaurant was great. Enjoyed the Guy Harvey decor and the little shop. This is not a high profile upscale hotel but is a low key friendly, homey retreat. The pool is well maintained but not heated. It’s a short drive in to St Augustine. My husband and I would have no hesitation to come again.

We had a great stay over the weekend! All of the staff were so sweet to my kiddos and made us feel excited about our trip. My husband and son were able to walk to mini-golf and us girls took advantage of the pool tiki bar. We LOVED the ability to reserve an umbrella and chairs set up for us at the beach and the towel survive. We had the best of both worlds with the pool and beach right outside the room. It was a short drive into town for our ghost tour and dinner. Perfect weekend. Will be staying here again!

Older facility with splashes of updates. Pool area was underwhelming as the pool is not heated, and the resort does not have a hot tub. Tiki bar area was nice, but the only restrooms in the area were in a portapotty trailer forcing us (traveling with 2 toddlers) to make several trips back up to our room while trying to enjoy the kids sand play area, and listening to the live music near the tiki bar.

The bar was very nice. We could not use the pool because it was a little too chilly. The beach access was good. Disappoint d in the overall look. For it being a Guy Harvey resort there were not that many decorations. The room was very simple. Not much in it. Disappointed there was not even a chair or loveseat to sit on. Only had the bed and 2 uncomfortable wicker desk type chairs. The shower was horrible. I made the mistake of booking an accessible room so the shower was a walk in, which was nice. Except when you ran the shower there was nothing to stop the water from going all over the bathroom floor, it got soaked. If anyone who had mobility issues was there they would have fallen and hurt themselves, like my wife almost did. Very poor design. We were also very unhappy about the fact that room service left our door open when they finished. We were out all day and came back to an open door. Luckily nothing was taken. We reported it to the front desk and they seemed concerned and escalated the issue, however we never heard anything about the issue. The staff was very nice and accommodating. The front desk helped me get some tea pods for the room Kurig. We spent two evenings at the bar. Both bartenders were very nice and chatted with us while still working hard. We had the shrimp dinner one night and the Breaker salad the second. Both were very good and plenty for two people to share.
