Beautiful location in the middle of everything, close to the beach but it was too cold to go in

Nice room, terrible coffee. Had difficulty with heating system. Not much choice for breakfast options which are delivered to your room. Good location.

Walked private path to the beach early morning. Excellent location, reasonable price. We will come back again. Bed squared, too high but we were tired & sleepy. We forgot our breakfast selection to put outside but the staff brought immediately the breakfast but the boiled eggs were missing. The coffee was available.

Close to beach and St.Augustine

Posted Nov 26, 2017
Pros: Location, close to beach and restaurants.
Cons: Our room had a strong mildew smell.
Location: Several good restaurants close by.
We have stayed here in the past and overall hotel is good. They bring a cute breakfast to your room which is nice. The breakfast options are muffins, sausage biscuit, cereal or scone with juices and condiments. The hotel is very clean and quiet. the beds were very comfortable. Unfortunately our room had a mildew smell which is not unusual in Florida. This usually occurs in older hotels. This is older but well maintained. We also had a little problem keeping air conditioning on but eventually figured this out. The access to beach is wonderful and they do have a nice pool.

Nice Hotel/ First Time Staying

Posted Nov 25, 2017
Stayed here for the first time this year in November. I would love to come back and experience a stay during the summer. The staff will bring a small breakfast to you first thing every morning. The room was clean and the staff replaced towels/emptied trash daily. The hotel has a walkway that takes you straight to the beach. Overall a nice room, good experience, and good location

Quick drive to St. Augustine's historic district

Posted Nov 20, 2017
Pros: Ordered a free light breakfast & it was sent to the room so we could stay in our p.j.s. The warm muffins were delicious & eggs hard boiled PERFECTLY!
Cons: Only one silly thing I can think of: we were three women and the mirror in the bathroom could have been a little lower
Location: Historic district with its myriad shops and restaurants. Castillo (fort) National Monument. Mini golf (with cute pirate ship) next to hotel.
We were greeted by a pleasant front desk staff & the gentleman had a good sense of humor which I appreciate. Gave us info on use of room key, beach towels (which they would provide), etc, told us to call if we needed anything and we were off to room in a few short minutes. Room was clean and nicely appointed. On morning two of our stay, one of our group noticed there were no decaf coffee pkts. A call to the front desk & they were brought up very quickly. We will be returning to St Augustine and would happily stay at this hotel. It's less expensive compared to hotels in the historic district so we had more money to spend at restaurants and gift shops which made three women very happy.. I'd also checkout the fair grounds. When we were there, on day one there was a "Tiny House" exhibit which one of our group wanted to see. Day two was spent entirely in the historic district and we didn't see half of it.

Good motel near a beach

Posted Nov 2, 2017
It isn’t beachfront but only a short walk without crossing streets. The motel has a pool. St Augustine 5 miles away so not so good for touring. The motel room is reasonable without much in the way of extras. Clean and good beds. Included breakfast is very basic but convenient.
