Cons: Remodel bathroom to be easier accessible. Would suggest putting toilet on right instead of shelf and move shelf closer to sink. Otherwise very accomod
It was a very pleasant experience. I will be back to try other ocean view rooms.

Beautiful Bed and Breakfast on the beach

Posted May 3, 2017
Pros: Great location on the beach.
Cons: Wifi connection.
Location: Lots.
We had a wonderful and relaxing stay. It's location practically right on the beach is ideal for easy access. The landscaping is not only beautiful but also gives it a private feel so we almost felt that we were there by ourselves. Great pool and delicious breakfast.

Had a good time

Posted Mar 20, 2017 on Hotels
Everything was great, no kids around, and very relaxing. Only 5 miles or so miles to old Town. Was easy to get a Uber to get wherever you wanted to. Only down fall was bath tube had dirty grout and knob.

Buyer Beware: This is NOT A B&B!!

Posted Mar 6, 2017 on Hotels
This is not a B&B. This is a motel owned by a couple who also own the 2-star motel next door, and who are not resident on property. It is staffed exclusively by people who have no ownership stake, and who want you at breakfast promptly at 9:am. We paid as much for this 2-star experience as we would have paid for the 4 star hotel that is right downtown St. Augustine. (Casa Monica is GORGEOUS. Great food.) If you enjoy having your breakfast at the same table with total strangers, this is the place for you. Despite the fact that this is billed as a "couples" B&B, breakfast choice is a table for four or a table for ten. It is NOT cook to order, as everybody is served the exact same thing. If you like mediocre coffee, bland frozen hash brown potatoes, and scrambled eggs, a little cup of fruit, and juice from a plastic jug, sign up here. If you want to pay too much for a room that has dirty floors & comforter, a shower that is from the 1970s and is like showering in a cave, this is your place. Oh, and listening to the neighbors' conversation & toileting through the VERY thin walls was special as well. Main house has ZERO privacy. This is a simply pricey motor lodge with great beach access. You have to check in at the "sister property" next door, shlep your own ice from there, and park between two palm trees on a narrow piece of land. The rooms are tacky and dated, and the general feel of the whole experience is: meh. Your money is far better spent someplace else

B&B--1st Visit

Posted Feb 27, 2017 on Hotels
Our stay was good. It was very quiet at night. I'm a light sleeper, so all the little noises kept me awake most of the night. The location was fantastic--walking distance to the beach, and a 10 minute drive to downtown area. Breakfast was very good. The site said several things that were never offered to us, such as free use of umbrellas, bikes, etc.

Couples night out with Concert

Posted Feb 26, 2017 on Hotels
This is the 2nd time we've stayed here for our concert night at the St Augustine Amphitheater and it's a great, close place and their breakfast is awesome! The rooms are clean and neat, it's right at the ocean and if it's available they will take one night reservations.
