Even better than expected.

Great amenities, room and staff. My expedia booking for 7 days somehow had gotten split into 3 reservations but i realized this before arriving when i called the hotel with some questions. Front desk supervisor was grear and fixed it all before we arrived. :)

Beautiful grounds, Location close to Highway

Pros: The pool area
Cons: up date the rooms
Location: Not much in the area Saint Augustine is approximately 18 miles
There is no argument that the grounds and resort are beautiful. But with that said we were disappointed in our room and our stay over all! We were Expecting a full kitchen, living area, seated patio and walk in shower. We had none of the above...definitely was not what description said. The rooms are dark not updated and have very poor lighting, we had to call maintenance twice because our air conditioner kept going out. We were there for five days and the hot tub was closed with no explanation just do not cross tape wrapped around it. They said the pool was heated... but unfortunately the pool was cold! And if you go out for the evening be prepared to not park near your building as parking is very limited. We got asked to do a tour of their timeshares at that time we expressed our issues with our stay... they seemed very concerned and we're going to take care of our problems… Until we told them we were not interested in buying in to their timeshare program! Needless to say none of our issues were resolved!

GOLF , Beautiful Setting even if you don't golf!

Pros: Besides what I already mentioned, the staff was friendly, competent. The ground crews and all associates greeted us and made us feel welcome.
Location: Near to I-95 and St Augustine... plenty of golf here, nice place to walk. . Outlet Mall (nice one) and Gander Mountain nearby. Beaches not far away.
We thought we were getting a room at the Main Hotel for World Golf Village, according to the name and photos on Expedia. We were directed to Bluegreen vacations also on site. Because of always reliable results with Expedia booking we proceeded to stay at the Bluegreen facility. Our overall experience was positive, the room was spacious, well appointed, clean and we had a pleasant view from our balcony. A couple of things however: nearby Golf Village had their ground crews out (with blowers) by 7:30 am...just ruined our cup of coffee (soundwise) on the balcony...by 8 o'clock they were gone! Toilets flushing....I know they are water preservation systems, but in room they sound like jet engines firing up and when a neighbor uses theirs, it sounds like Fourth of July fireworks at a distance. We made the best of it and just laughed!

St Augustine trip

Location: Location was perfect close to St Augustine, food and shops
Staff was so friendly and helpful, golf course was great and so close to St Augustine

Good views,clean rooms (but dated).Check in issues

Pros: Views from the room
Cons: Reservations efficiency.
Location: A short drive from St Augustine
Mixed feelings about this resort. We found on arrival that our Expedia reservation had been cancelled by the hotel apparently - even though it was still active on my Expedia app. (and they confirmed that they were not aware of any cancellation). Some reception staff and the manager were very helpful in sorting out this problem but one particular member of reception staff had a huge attitude problem and caused us more upset. Eventually a room was found for us but at first they tried to charge us rack rate, until the manger intervened. The apartment had a comfortable bedroom and good views but bore no resemblance to the photos of the upgraded accommodation I had booked. It was in need of some refurbishment. Our experience certainly wouldn't encourage us to go again or to recommend this resort.
