The air conditioner seemed to struggle to remove moisture from the room so it felt really muggy (possibly the drain is clogged), which explained the existence of mold in the room (on the carpet, on furniture, and black mold/mildew around the window). The linen was pretty worn out and much of it had holes in them. The chair in the room was pretty disgusting and felt near sticky. The carpet felt damp. The mattress on the sleeper sofa was worn slap out and the mattresses on the 2 queen beds were also worn out and uncomfortable. The door to the room often got stuck while trying to open it. We found that some furniture wasn't even assembled completely (like the desk). The sole elevator on the property is in desperate need of service, as it was loud (even for what sounds like a hydraulic system) and vibrated a lot. Folks that we shared the elevator with seemed to be pretty put off by how it operated while riding it. For the price, we were generally underwhelmed by our stay and that's on management and the property owner as they're the folks that dictate how much time and money is put into the state of repair of each room. All staff we interacted with were fantastic and super friendly and seemed to want to be helpful and the breakfast items were pretty decent.

The location of the hotel was quite far from the historic downtown, contrary to the advertisement. Also, the bath floor seemed dirty, old , and used. The lid of the toilet paint was faded.

The property is getting very old and a little dirty for the money paid per night... Our friends in a room last night had neighbors that were so loud and banging and very loud talking that they had to go downstairs at 3:00 AM to find someone at the front counter to go upstairs to the noisy neighbors and pound on the door to tell them to quiet down... Our friends finally got to sleep at 4:15, but had to be up by 8AM to leave for their home...

Overall dirty, room were old and dirty. Needs new paint and carpet all over. Pool and hot tub need work. Asked if hot tub worked, which it did but it was cold. We had holes in the comforter in the room. Hair all over towels in the bathroom.

Staff was very welcoming and friendly. Also very accommodating. Just a perfect location. Suggest rooms need to be deep cleaned especially around baseboards and carpet. Other than that, fantastic and we will return.

The breakfast each morning was quite good. The young lady at the front desk was extremely helpful. The title implied that it was located in the downtown historic district but the hotel was actually 1.5 miles from downtown. I didn't mind the walk each day but my senior traveling companion struggled walking the distance .

Everything looked pretty decent, clean, spacious room, hot water, flushing toilets, until it was time to hit the sack. An uncomfortable uneven king size mattress with bumps and two pairs of little baby size pillows made my sleep a nightmare.

The stay was nice and quiet, room was clean, staff was nice. The breakfast experience was terrible. We went to breakfast at 8:20 am and there was no waffle mix, no syrup, no eggs or sausage and out of coffee cups. No one came to check supplies. A man had to go to the front to see if anyone was actually working. The overall stay was good and I would stay there again

I would have liked to give a good review. However, the following is what led me to give this hotel an average rating. Upon arrival, the lobby area appeared unkempt. The room carpet was not clean. Also, the bathroom floor had hair in the corners and the tub was not cleaned properly.
