Not up to Courtyard standards

Arrived at midnight, but had called in the afternoon to alert them about our late arrival and to get assurances that they would hold our previously booked room. Nevertheless the room that was “saved” for us was the least desirable in location. After standing our ground, the night shift clerk came up with a better location by simply looking on the screen for two queen beds instead of one king. Not rocket science. Halls, rooms, elevators , etc. are dingy and sad. And the price was high.

BUG BEDS

Received bad infection of BED BUGS on 4/16 carried them to Miami on 4/17 and back to qSt. Augustine to a different room on 4/18.

Do not stay in Room 236

Checked in and was told they were sold out the night before so rooms were still being cleaned. Not my issue maybe be better staffed during busy times. Then we were told the elevator was not working we would have to carry bags up to room. We are 73 and not easily done. Got to the room and we had no hot water. Called desk and were told to let it run. Let it run and still cold. Called desk again and they sent maintenance man and we were told to let it run that the wires on the boiler were burned out. Went to front desk and asked to be moved and i was told that it is difficult to get hot water to that side of the building. Finally was changed to another room and had to move suitcases again down the stairs again.

On the main road and easy access from I-95. Starbucks in lobby but limited choices

Convenient to Interstate and St Augustine

Pros: Everything, I found it convenient to shopping, St Augustine for historic district, food, and relaxation.
Cons: Nothing found it comfortable
Location: It's close to the interstate, lots of shopping, historic district and loads of fun things.
I enjoyed my stay, the staff were pleasant. The rooms were clean. I found the water nice and hot to take a bath. I relaxed quiet and cozy like I wanted to do, enjoyed the pool lounge area. There is also a place you can grill and a fireplace outside. I didn't partake but a family grilled out there. Also a fantastic breakfast cafe and starbucks coffee on premise for your morning coffee. All in all, I enjoyed my stay and could go there again.

St. Augustine getaway

The room was very clean &. comfortable . The staff was very nice also. The only issue we had was the hotel was swarmed with cats outside. Wecounted at least 8 stray cats outside digging in the garbage cans right next to the entrance. My kids are deathly allergic to them so we had to plan our escape to our car. We will not stay here again if these cats are still around.
