Just less than ok

Hotel room was not very clean. Bed was comfortable enough. Breakfast was less than ok. Guest in other rooms were not creepy, all nice cars in parking lot. Bottom line: price.

Need to remodel still looks like 1970. In the bathroom they painted over the tile. The inside of the door front was very dirty. When the front door was closed you to see this big gap with sunlight coming around it. Very tight squeeze in the bathroom

Couldn’t believe this hotel was rated a 3.2!

This inn is old and in desperate need of renovations. As soon as you opened the door, the overwhelming odor of mustiness envelopes you. The carpet was frayed and pulled apart where it meets the floor by the bathroom. The bathroom wasn’t that clean and I was shocked at the condition of even the window. The bathroom looked like it hadn’t had a deep cleaning in forever. There was built up dust in every corner, the seal around the tub had built up dirt in it. Staff- when we arrived at 2:10pm (pre-check in, I realize), we were told that a room wouldn’t be available for 15 min, which was fine. We stepped outside the office door to wait and when we came back in, there were two parties that were checked in ahead of us.. even though we had arrived before them. I feel that we should have been checked in first since we arrived first. While checking in, I said I needed a rollaway bed. I was told that they only have two and both were in use. I told them that I had called the night before to ensure there would be one and was told that absolutely one would be available and just mention it at check in. After being told this, the clerk made a call and then said yes, we would have one brought to our room. However, one was never brought and when we returned at 9pm after being out the rest of the day, there still hadn’t been one delivered. I called and told the front desk that and also said to just cancel the request and make sure I wasn’t charged for it. Guess what? It was on my bill.

Disappointed

Will start with the positive. Location is great and free parking! Rooms are disgusting, smelly, dirty sheets, ripped blankets, bathroom is tiny and if you are a larger person will not be able to fit. Breakfast is complementary but not eatable. I understand that it is cheaper than other options but does not mean it has to be dirty and disgusting. Unfortunately will not be returning there. Sorry...

Good location. Lack of cleanliness

Location is great being close to the historic area. However, the staff was not friendly, the carpet had stains, outlets were broken (either the case was broken or your charger plugs would fall out) , shower head was shorter than me (and im 5'2). I wouldnt stay here again nor would I recommend it to anyone.

The rooms have old furniture and the shower had broken tiles and leaking water, the carpets are dirty, the breake fast are is very small,

Nice if get it at a deal

Nice location. Hotel is old and could use a remodel. Our bathroom was TINY and pretty stained. The breakfast is a joke.... cereal, bagels & danishes was about it.

Saint Augustine motel

Pros: Friendly staff
Cons: Bathroom need updating, painting and missing tiles replaced.
Location: The Fort, historic downtown and colorful shops on George Street.
Close location to visit all the historic areas. Easy parking.
