Clean Room; although could use an update, Staff was very friendly. Convenient location to food.

Dining room has limited space to accomodate people during breakfast. There's only 1 waffle maker & people has to wait 10mins for there waffle to be made. Not a lot of breakfast choice...

worse room ever stayed, will never be there again

shower was not working properly, water changed temperature by itself during. room was humid and a little smelly.

Awful termite infested rundown hotel

Upon arrival men were lurking around the perimeter and as two young women we did not feel comfortable by ourselves. Once we got into our room, the chairs were old, the carpet was dirty, and the room looked very run down overall. The sink had trouble draining and the toilet wouldn't flush, plus the shower had no drain stopper. The worst was when we discovered a large termite infestation on the baseboard of one the beds!

This hotel should be out of business!!!!

Pros: NOTHING!!!
Cons: It needs to be torn down and re-build completely!
After I checked in, went to my room and it smell like mold, it was filthy, old worned out furniture, schratch and really outdated...popcorn ceiling was falling out, cracked walls, toilet had stains in and out, pubic hairs on the floor. Bedding looked as if they were not cleaned, beds were super old and uncomfortable. Carpet was old and dirty. Curtains look terrible and were broken... I immediately called back to reception and asked to be refunded that I needed to get out of there... The lady was very nice, however all she offered was another room. which seem to have same problems... so I told her that I would really appreciate if I only get my money back that I did not want to stay in that hotel after seeing the room. She called either the manager or owner and he said that "NO Refunds"... It was a terrible experience... this hotel needs to be closed out by county... hazardous if you asked me. HORRIBLE Place...

Newly renovated rooms in a good area. Had a funny smell but it was a cleaning product they used I believe. For the price it is excellent, cleaner than historic Howard Johnson

Did not get what I paid for

Pros: Nothing. Attendant was rude and condescending
Cons: Polite and professional staff
I paid extra for a room with a king bed. When I got there, the attendant told me I had a room with two beds. He said he had a king, but that was 'pricier'. I told him again I paid extra for the king bed. He didn't want to listen. I cancelled my stay and called expedia to get a refund. They apologized and refunded my money, but also told me they would give me a 50 dollar voucher for another place. Never received it.

Hotel was occupied with all king bed rooms so our attendant could not be able to assign you king bed room. Again we are so sorry for the incident and thanks for your feedback.

Decent location

Pros: Location was key for us because we had business in both Jacksonville and St. Augustine. It is right off of I-95 so it really worked out in our favor. Free breakfast too.
Cons: We had to move the table and chairs in the room to help with the air circulation because the AC unit had the table and chairs placed right in front of it and the room would cool off. As soon as we moved them the room cooled right down and we were comfortable.
Location: About 15 minutes from the historic district of St. Augustine with the Fountain of Youth and unique shops and sightseeing tours.
