Could be the worst hotel I've ever stayed in.

Posted Jul 22, 2016
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Read the above comments.
My wife and I were greatly disappointed with this hotel experience. The ice machines on the first and second floor were out of order. Only the third floor machine worked. The room we were given was dirty. It smelled, and we found long dark hair (not ours) around the sink and on top of one of the waste baskets. We stayed for two days. Upon returning to our room on the first day, we found the bed had been made, and the bathroom had been cleaned, to some extent. However, the coffee maker we had used that morning had not been touched. The remaining coffee from the morning was still in the pot and no new coffee packets had been left for us to use the next morning. The ceiling had numerous black splotches on the ceiling, reminding me of black mold.Employees stood outside the stairs we used so they could take their smoke breaks, requiring us to walk through their smoke on the way to our room. I could go on, but suffice it to say this was not a positive experience. This is probably the worst hotel room we've ever stayed in. Quality Inn is not an appropriate name for this hotel.

hotel is across the street from the beach

Posted Jul 21, 2016
Pros: Staff was friendly and my children enjoyed the pool.
Cons: Update the rooms!
Location: Location was amazing. The beach is right across the street and plenty of things for people to do. Tons of restaurants.
The rooms were horrible. Both chairs to the table were broken. If you were to sit in them they would have broke. There was hair in the towels and all over the floor.

Fair Hotel

Posted Jul 19, 2016
Pros: That I paid a reasonable price thanks to Expedia.
Cons: Is too old needs a bit of refreshment
Location: My daughter lives in St Augustine but there is a lot to see in St Augustine
Everything was ok except for the mattress, it was worn out in one side of the bed (sagging) and people smoking galore on the balcony hallways next to our room; also the floor under the stairs in the outside by the pool was dirty like it never was flush with water. other than that it was Ok for a couple of nights. However the one Quality inn by the mall is a different story, much better.

Clean hotel, great staff, close by beautiful beach

Posted Jun 2, 2016
Pros: Location, staff, room.
Location: St. Augustine is at your fingertips, as well as a beautiful coastline.
This hotel was well situated for our purposes on our road trip from New England to Orlando. Close enough to be able to access beautiful historic St. Augustine easily by car. Walking distance (across the street) from spectacular Ocean Hammock Park beach - providing us with a lovely start to our day following breakfast at the hotel. The staff at this hotel is helpful and friendly - from the breakfast attendant to reception to house keeping - I actually made mention of this to the manager when we checked out as I think this is impressive considering it's not a luxury property. Rooms are certainly adequate - very clean, though the building itself is older. In all a very good experience.

GREAT PLACE TO STAY

Posted Apr 29, 2016 on Hotels
This was my second year having a getaway with my boyfriend and staying at the Quality-Inn. The rooms are excellent and it is really close to the beach. The only problem I had this past trip was with receptionist; she did not ask if I wanted to pay with my card or cash (my Fiancé and I wanted to split the payment) and when we implied that we wanted to pay on two cards, she became really rude. I Work in the hospitality industry and I know that when you collect payment, you are suppose to ask the guest(s) how they would like to pay. Other than that, I recommend it to everyone!

Totally fine place to stay

Posted Apr 20, 2016 on Hotels
The hotel was fine. No problems really. It was right near beautiful beach areas and a short drive to historic St Augustine. Definitely not a luxury hotel but was clean and fine for the price and for a one night stay. The breakfast was the standard free hotel breakfast which is survivable but not amazing. They did have someone helping with anything needed for the breakfast which was good. Only problem was low water pressure in the shower but I told the front desk and she was interested and seemed like she would take action to sort that out.
