St. George's Worst America's Best

Posted Jul 24, 2016
Be careful which Anerica's Best Value you choose in St. George. Stay away from this one. First of all, I was put into a different room than I had paid for with Expedia. I was told that they could not credit difference since I booked through Expedia. Next, the room was noisy. There were barking dogs in an adjacent room and also down the hallway. The bed was the softest mattress I had been on. The carpeting in hall shows its wear. The staff was noisy. An ongoing renovation to one room made the visit even worse. Parking is inconvenient. I stayed in another America's Best Value in St. Geirge. That one far exceeded my expectation, so if you took the time to read this, please make the appropriate choice

The back fields by the parking lot was dark scary, the hall way was dirty, the walls had holes in them. The room was okay it was at least clean I would not stay at this hotel anymore.

has a pool, summer has hot temps.

Posted Jun 3, 2016
Pros: the lobby is clean, it has a personal laundry room?
Cons: not much.
Location: library, golf courses, weight rooms
its over 100 degrees out there. The city isn't humongous, and its a nice spot. If you walk like I do, it may take a half hour to get to the library or even a little further down tabernacle to the weight rooms and buffets. Nothing out of the ordinary, it has a pool and as a matter of fact it was like 16 dollars cheaper than the last few times I stayed here.

Pros: Good breakfast but nothing cleaned up. Spills left on tables and floor. Tables not even wiped between patrons.
Cons: cleanliness
Location: great location
The room was dirty. I made the children wear shoes every minute. Price was good on the week night but similar to some other hotels on the weekend.

Noisy Hotel

Posted May 2, 2016
Pros: The bed was confortable
Cons: Cleanliness and thicker walls.
Location: It was on Bluff street near stores and restaurants, but for the most part, you have to drive to do anything.
The location of the hotel was okay, and the bed was comfortable but I could hear the people on both sides of me, as well as the people across the hall. It was very noisy. Also, the fridge needed to be defrosted and there was gunk around the sink faucet. Overall, it wasn't very clean. I won't be staying at this hotel again.

Great price and Pet Friendly

Posted Apr 26, 2016
Pros: Pet friendly.
Cons: Noise barriers for ceiling and walls! More comfortable mattress.
Location: Zion National Park
This was a last minute booking due to needing a place that was inexpensive and pet friendly on my drive back from California. You get what you pay for! The walls and floors were VERY thin so all footsteps in the room above and noise from room next door could be heard. Fortunately my neighbors were relatively quiet so it wasn't as bad as if there were really noisy occupants and I was able to sleep. The mattress was very hard and uncomfortable - not hard as in firm, just plain hard. Other room amenities like microwave and refrigerator were nice.

Filthy room, we accidentally only booked 2 nights instead of 3, but it was so bad we were relieved and checked out to go home early.

Disappointed in hotel

Posted Apr 20, 2016
Pros: Nice shower pressure and good location
Cons: I mentioned several above in the summary
Location: Kmart next door..few eating places within walking distance across the street.
The carpets in the hall ways were stained really bad which was not a good introduction to the hotel. The bathrub was dark looking and wouldn't want to take a bath in it. The shower pressure etc. was great. The rooms were very noise proof as we listened to our neighbor till 2AM. Breakfast was marginal...did not restock very often and it was very poorly maintained. Cereal, pancake mix etc. all over the floor and tables. Looks like a frat party.
