Pros: Central in St George
Location: Write on St. George Blvd…central, there is a custard shop across the street, RiteAid one block south.
Did give a discount for a ground level room, key didn't always work, room was pleasant, and ours was right next to the hot tub entrance. Asked for towels for hot tub use, they were thin and smaller than a standard bath towel. Barely wrapped around my shoulders. Had a decent breakfast bar. Will probably not stay again.

Worst beds everPosted Sep 25, 2015
Pros: Comfortable queen beds, nice pool/hot tub.
Cons: Breakfast was not great - would have liked real half & half for the coffee.
Location: Near downtown. Lots to do and places to eat. Close enough to the I-15 to get to Zion and other outdoor places to explore.
I have visited the St. George area quite a few times in the past couple of years. This last time I was not able to stay in any of the usual hotels, as the town had several events going on and they were already full by the time I made a reservation one week before coming. This Econo Lodge had the appearance of being just fine. And it was. The beds had some of the most comfortable mattresses I have slept on, in even higher quality hotels. The staff were very pleasant. On the whole, the stay was excellent. I wish this hotel was just a little closer to either the highway or Main St., but the walk was good for us after dinner. I recommend this hotel highly.

Get what you pay forPosted Aug 2, 2015
Reminds me of a college dorm room. The room needed maintenance when we walked in. Bathroom smelled like pee when we first walked in, so I question cleanliness. Older building. Breakfast nice, get there before 7. No problem with staff. Arriving from freeway you have to make a U-turn to get in, bit ackward. We had 4 people stay, but they never left 4 towels. I always had to go to the office and get more towels. I liked the price and all we did was sleep there for 3 nights, so I can live with a few inconveniences. I would probably stay there again.

Great for the pricePosted Aug 2, 2015
The room was clean, the staff was friendly, the pool was great! The only downside to this hotel is the breakfast. It was horrible. Not sure what those "eggs" we're made of, but I doubt it was a chicken. Be prepared to eat breakfast out if you stay here. Other than that, no complaints! It's central to most things in St. George.

Typical old motel. Very nice staff and helpful. Good I guess for the money but not a great stay.
