Good Value

Posted Jun 2, 2016
Pros: Great value
Cons: Fine as it is.
Location: There were numerous restaurants in the neighborhood and easy access to the highway.
I have done events with Red Lion in Salt Lake, so I decided to stay there even though there were other better-rated options. I stayed there because it included a hot breakfast and fitness room. The breakfast was ok, but the fitness room was out of service. I went down on business so I only cared about a clean bed. Unfortunately, I didn't notice until I got up in the morning that they had not left me any towels. Despite the minor inconveniences, I thought it was a great value and would stay there again when I make regular business trips to St. George.

Old and out dated. We had to switch rooms, 1st room toilet making noise upon check-in. 2nd room sink did not drain..

Pros: I liked that it was easy access to places I needed to be. I did enjoy the pool it was nice to be inside and out to swim.
Cons: The cleaning of the rooms. Every time I walked by a room and a maid was in cleaning they where on their phone. Hair in bathroom not clean. Dirty
Location: there is shopping across the street and fast food all around.
I am over housekeeping at a hospital so I am Very hard to please, But I feel when you pay money to stay any where it should always be clean. Bathroom dirty and hair in the tub and on floor with a wad of wet toilet paper. The floor had been vacuumed in place's but still stuff on floor. The walls in bathroom needed to be washed and the window very dirty.

Pros: The pool is nice a little salty but the grandkids had fund
Cons: Maybe an upgrade in some places that need work
The bathroom wallpaper is peeling pretty good and the hot water didn't make it until the tub was almost full. The carpet etc is old as well and then the tv totally stopped working. Oh well

Nice hotel with hot breakfast and nice pool.

Be aware that the room you reserve through Expedia may not accommodate the number of people you expect! We chose this hotel room because Expedia's website said it would accommodate 5 guests but on arrival we had only 2 queen beds! The hotel allowed us to upgrade to their corporate suite for an extra charge, but we almost had to start farming out people to relatives, which we were trying to avoid by getting a hotel room in the first place! The hotel itself was very nice and the room was comfortable, especially since we got a jetted tub with the upgrade. The pool uses saline instead of chlorine, which my family liked. The breakfast included sausage and eggs and lots of bread/cereal/pastries but not much fruit--just slices of orange one day and canned peaches the next. Overall it was a nice place to stay and I would consider going there again --but I wouldn't trust the website to get me the right number of beds!

Personal sehr freundlich.

Good, not exceptional.

The rooms are old and somewhat musty. The towels were dingy, and hard. The bed was comfortable and the central air was not noisy. Overall it is good; howeve, it was nothing to write home about.

2 Star is Generous

Posted May 10, 2016
Pros: It is in a good location.
Cons: Pretty much everything needs improvement here.
Location: Location is close to the freeway. There were a couple of restaurants and other hotels around it.
For the price we paid for the room, I expected a lot more. The images they have online are not real life...Maybe when the hotel opened 50 years ago it was like that. It's old, stinky, overpriced, and outdated. The mattress should have been replaced 7 years ago, along with the bedding. The bathroom sink did not drain, the toilet seat didn't even fit the toilet, and there were multiple placards posted throughout the room letting us know that they inventory towels and will charge for anything missing. I'm glad we only had to stay one night.

I am so sorry about sign in the room about the charge for anything missing. We just post those sign few weeks ago because we missing about 200-300 towels a month. I have to order new towels every month because of lots of missing towels. also, we are working on remodeling a whole hotel soon. thanks for your feedback

Outdated. Don't trust any management pictures.

Posted May 8, 2016
I assume this hotel just recently bought from a previous management. Furniture is almost made you feel like it is from a thrift store. Horrible breakfast. They seem to have a decent review however do not trust any of them. These comments all have been posted by fixed travelers. Very disappointed. I'd rather stay at 1.5 star hotels without any expectations.

As you know I travel through your group often. This place is rotten. Toe nail clippings on the floor. Not vacuumed , hair dryer does not work. No elevator , mold in the bathroom
