Still a nice hotelPosted Oct 2, 2015
Cons: As I said, some of the bedspreads and towels were a little tattered. Not a big deal, but for the normal rates for these rooms I wouldn't expect this.
I've stayed at this hotel on numerous occasions over the last 15 years (or more). When it was a Holiday Inn, then a Lexington property, and now Red Lion. The facility has been kept up very well in most all areas. It is not a brand new facility but the rooms have been renovated (probably a few times) and it's always a nice comfortable stay. I did notice this trip that some of the bed bedspreads and towels were getting a little tattered and worn. The shower knob wasn't working very well, but they had a maintenance man take care of that promptly (and very professionally). All of the staff I encountered was very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again, but I did get a discount through Expedia and without the discount I probably would have stayed elsewhere.

Older hotel spa closed rooms need updating. The shampoos and conditioners were unique and quality.

Not worth the pricePosted Sep 8, 2015
Ice cold pool, hot tub closed. Worst breakfast we've ever had. The room itself was OK but not worth the price.

romantic getawayPosted Sep 8, 2015
Pros: cleanliness was great.pool was also good. The chlorine was strong enough to burn our eyes without submerging for a mere 5 minutes.Breakfast good too.
Location: Incredible hikes and snow canyon, Outdoor theater for plays/music. resturants and drives and lakes amazing
we have been to this hotel multiple times in the past decade. However, wanted to pay the extra for the jetted tub room. The tub was barely large enough for one person and this was also the shower and full bathroom with only curtains into the main room. The shower was awkward because of the faucet on the side of the tub and became a knee banger. The room was spacious and the king sized bed very comfortable. but not worth the extra $$ for a romatic suite.

Location: well located for our purpose
We stayed 2 nights, when we came back the second day approx 6:15 pm our room haven't been cleaned. I talk to the front desk about it and his response, I'll take note. no efforts at all to get it clean. Also at the fitness facility, the water machine have not been filled for the 2 days I was there even after a few requests

Old but comfortable.Posted Aug 24, 2015
I booked a premium room with king size bed, and when I arrived they told me there weren't any more available, so they put me in a different room with two queen sized beds. The housekeeping ladies came an hour and a half early, and the some of the staff running the front didn't seem to understand fully how to work everything. The building is pretty old and the floor layout feels antique, but the bed was very comfortable, very dark at night, and the AC worked well. Nice shower, too. The breakfast was good. I'd say it's worth it for the cheap fare I got.

A welcome respite after a long, hot drive.Posted Aug 21, 2015
Pros: It was mid-August, and our room was already cool when we opened the door. Room was clean and neat. Shower was hot and forceful. Breakfast was tasty.
Cons: I'm sure old ice machines will be replaced, and other site upgrades will be completed as the transition is completed.
Location: There were several nearby restaurants we could have chosen if we needed food that evening, or if we hadn't taken advantage of the breakfast buffet.
We arrived late after a road trip across Utah and Arizona. The room was pleasantly clean, cool, and comfortable when we arrived. Showers were hot and restoring, and the beds were great. We looked forward to enjoying the pool and hot tub, but we arrived after it had closed at 10pm in deference to the rooms that open into that area. Breakfast in the morning offered plenty of variety, all well-prepared and presented. Every staff member we met seemed to be friendly and welcoming. We were very grateful for the cooler-full of ice as we headed off the next morning. This is a hotel currently in transition from one brand to another, and some minor glitches are bound to occur. However, none of them adversely affected our satisfaction with the facility, and we would stay there again if passing that way on another trip.
