Tried hotel because of price

Posted Aug 23, 2016
We had to use a rollaway bed in two rooms and they were horrible. Ended up sleeping on the floor and not on the bed. Also there is not an elevator in the hotel. This makes it very difficult for older people or those with some physical problems who have to climb the stairs with their luggage

We came to st. George for a quick one night stay to help my daughter's transition into Dixie State University. The hotel staff was awesome the room is clean and for the money it is probably the best value. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone and I'm sure we will be staying there quite a bit more in the future

interesting architecture

enjoyed the surroundings and lodging area and was impressed by the included breakfast offering. The cost was not that much more for much more in surroundings and included offerings.

Location and good breakfast

Posted Aug 19, 2016
Pros: Staff was great and breakfast.
Cons: Plumbing, see above.
Location: Live St. George tours for the history of the area. Plays in the open air theater. Close to Zion, Kolab and other wonderful parks!!
This is an older hotel now under new management. It is showing it's age but would look a lot better if you just upgraded the carpets in the halls and stairs. My biggest problem is that I had to take a cold shower all three days that we were there. My friend also had the same problem in her room. We have stayed here before and liked the price and breakfast. They do a true breakfast with sausage, eggs etc.

Great for the price

Posted Aug 17, 2016
Our room was not up to our expectations. We requested another room. Staff was VERY friendly and accommodating. Second room was very nice. This hotel is older but the inside of the rooms are not bad. We had a very large room with 2 queens, a double sink. A/C worked excellent. Bathroom was clean. i think for the price, it was very nice.

hotel close to restaurants

Posted Aug 15, 2016
Pros: close to restaurant and freeway
Cons: cleanliness must be improved
Location: close to the freeway, there's a lot of other hotels near it, and restaurants
it was dirty, dusty, floor needs to be vacuumed, tv not working, very tired from a long trip but they have to fix it while I'm sleeping. they moved that small desk where this tv was hooked up, and my skin cringed on the dust under it.

A bed and pool

Posted Aug 13, 2016
Front office and foyer look nice. Staff were friendly, breakfast was average. Rooms in back were dated and un inviting. Really could use a thorough deep clean of carpets and walls. Maybe a re caulking of toilet so it doesn't look moldy or just dirty. Air cond vent was filthy! Bathroom is tiny, can't open or close the door when on the pot. Probably will not stay here again

Nice hotel, but they need new mattresses.

Posted Aug 10, 2016
The hotel is really nice, but the mattresses were so old. They put some kind of pad on top of the mattress and it kept bunching up under me. It was like sleeping in a taco. We kept rolling toward each other to the middle of the bed. The room was very roomy and nice. I would stay again if they replaced the mattresses.
