Established hotel , good location

Posted Aug 25, 2016
Pros: Staff, location, amenities
Location: Shopping and dining on WaterSt as well as Duckworth. George Street 3 blocks away for the bar scene. Access to highways going out of town.
This was second time at The Delta and it was as hospitable and the staff as helpful as the first. Good location , amenities were very good and Thomas and David acting as concierges deserve a very special shout out. Their knowledge and great senses of humour made of easy logistics confirmations. Restaurant and bar staff were well trained and very nice people,

It is an old dated place. It really needs some tlc

Posted Aug 23, 2016
This hotel is dated. Nice staff buy it is really worn. If I was paying half what I paid I would have been accepting but they charge Like a first rate hotel and they should have standards like a first rate hotel. A prime example of the lack of attention to detail were the paper coffee cups.

Parking very confusing

Posted Aug 18, 2016
Pros: Close to downtown attractions.
Cons: Parking
Location: Water St. and George St. are close by and have lots to offer.
From getting out of car to check in and having a taxi driver tell me I couldn't park at the front, to parking across in underground that took forever to navigate back to room.... it was disappointing. Nice hotel, but parking was too confusing for me.

First time in St. John's.

Posted Aug 3, 2016
Pros: Comfortable beds.
Cons: Perhaps updating a bit.
Location: Close to George Street
Came to St. John's for a wedding in Brigus. The hotel is wonderful. Staff are very accommodating and access to George Street and festivities there is within walking distance.

Good location

The hotel location was great but the parking lot was difficult to get around due to poor signage. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Overall it was good value but it could use a facelift as it's rather dated.
