Nice hotel in a good location. We stayed for 6 nights and were told on check in that the room would be done every other day. It was done once. I personally think rooms should be done every day especially for the price we pay for accommodation these days. We had to call every day to get fresh towels and such.

Hotel was overrun by kids who were mostly unsupervised. Parents were too busy in the lobby with open alcohol until almost midnight, maybe longer. Had to complain because there was kids in the hallway next to our room with hockey sticks hitting a ball against the wall, one parent seen it and said "hallway hockey, awesome" I couldn't believe they would see that and not intervene considering it was after 10pm. Pool was crowded the entire time, we could not get close to it, it had to have been over the maximum capacity as it was. Front desk were not very empathetic to the complaint. They didn't tell the kids or parents to be mindful of other guests. I seen multiple service people just turn a blind eye to it. I had more reservations made which I cancelled because that was absolutely a waste of money for a stay that we couldn't enjoy and just basically had to stay in our room and try to sleep with all the chaos going on. Will not be back. Will not recommend. There has to be more in place when you accommodate these teams. I understand they are kids but we're paying for a stay and expect to make use of the amenities offered. Everyone else shouldn't have to suffer because hotel staff cant ensure safety standards aren't met.

Upon entering the room, all I could see was a giant stain in the middle of the floor. Dirt and crumbs over the carpet. In the washroom someone had used the toilet that wasn’t flushed for our 3 night stay. The Fairfield was once our favourite hotel to stay at, but after this experience we will most likely look to stay somewhere else.

Our stay was good. Though the tv in our room would not connect to the central cable service. Though a maintenance person did show up and say he would need to investigate how to resolve the issue and would return, we received no follow up from that point on, and gave up on it. The rest was fine.

NOISE - there were kids playing hockey in the hallways on the 5th floor. We asked them twice to keep the noise down. We also made two calls to the front desk. Will not book again.

Finally no vehicle break ins.... Staying with my daughter who was playing in a tournament .Was shocked to wake up saturday morning with no hotel staff to prepare breakfast: no shows A very big attraction level for this hotel....

All the staff was absolutely wonderful! Requests were addressed immediately, great service. Only one not very helpful, Jan 8 night. Only feedback is that breakfast ends too early. If you're on vacation you don't want to have to set your alarm to rush down before 0930 for breakfast. And the waffles never get put out unless you ask.

Nobody comes to tidy up.Towels well used not much drying power left in them and rough. I would like a soap dispenser at sink rather than bar of soap. I would also like a garbage bag in the cans rather than throwing garbage directly into can, doesn’t seem sanitary,cleaners have to clean any drippings from can.Bouquet to the young fellow in the kitchen,he provided a wonderful breakfast both mornings and was so helpful and cordial.

Comfortable stay
Checked in at 2:15 with our dog. Everything went great with no problems. Room was clean and comfortable and there was room for all our baggage and the dogs kennel. The breakfast the next morning was really good.
