Pros: Hotel is updated.
Cons: The parking for guests are high. $11.00 a day. Should be complimentary to hotel guests.
Location: Overlooking the harbour and within walking distance to old St. John,s.
Great location within walking distance to old St. John. One of the few places offering two beds in the room. This seems to be an issue in NFLD. The rooms were clean, staff accommodating, location excellent.

Good price downtown

Have stayed here before and was fine, however this time the check in/ out staff weren't overly friendly. I asked to get some wine glasses and they said they didn't have any bc they didn't have a dishwasher to clean them yet when I stayed there a month ago i got them. Go figure! I also called to have a late check out and she said i had to call bk in the morning to ask?!?! Whats up with that?!? Anyway can't say I'll be going back any time soon.

Under construction in all parts of the hotel . Told us it would start at 9 am started at 7 am every day. Didn't sleep. Front desk staff lost reservation changes 2-3 times. Very slow service. Restaurant view is okay. Location is good. Gym also closed from construction.

Great location to downtown!

Pros: Location
Cons: They were in the middle of a renovation but it did not disrupt our stay.
Location: Close to George Street attraction, great local shops, delicious restaurants and of course the harbour.
We LOVE NEWFOUNDLAND and the hotel was in a great location for us to walk around downtown to explore!

Hotel with amazing Harbour view from our window

Pros: We enjoyed the wonderful staff, location, great in-hotel Restaurant, and the easy accessibility the downtown area.
Cons: I wish they offered Continental breakfast :)
Location: Location was the best! Close to many shops, places to eat, to sightseeing departures, the views were amazing, a walkers paradise, a dream come true!
The Staff were great. Very helpful and excellent Newfoundland ambassadors! The Hotel is central to dining, shopping, sightseeing and perfect for walking to many interesting sights. The Hotel was presently doing updates to rooms but was not disturbing to guests. We would definitely return for another stay at Quality Hotel if we are luckly enough to be able to return to Beautiful Newfoundland!

I booked this hotel for a client. He had no complains about the room itself but there was no hot water for nearly two days and he wasn't compensated in any way.
