Convenient location

Posted Feb 12, 2017
I really enjoyed the convenient location. I didn't have the jetted tub as depicted in the picture. I didn't have access to take a bath at all. The hotel front desk told me there had been a drainage issue therefore the bath tub was non operational. I did enjoy the shower. My room was cleaned daily & the staff was very friendly and accomodating.

Great Potential, but falls short.

Posted Jan 14, 2017
Pros: All new carpet, has great potential, needs TLC
Cons: Clean it up better, rooms, halls
Location: A little out of the way, but secluded enough for better security.
Room was cold upon entry, turned on heat at 68 degrees, soon room was in the 80's, turn off heat at 2:00 AM turned on Air Conditioning set for 66 degree. By morning 5:00 AM room was in the mid 70's. Housekeeping needs to learn to sweep all the way to the edges and corners, no sign anywhere in the hotel that this was being done. On the floor in front of the night stand, I saw a dime, and brown lid to a bottle along with dirt, picture available if desired. Room frig, had a great note on it, Frig. Turned Off to save energy. Well to bad management didn't tell the housekeeping staff make sure they TURNED OFF THE FRIG UNITS. This unit ran all night long without stopping, upon opening it found that the freezer section so iced over the unit could not satisfy the thermostat. TURNED OFF and put used bath towels under freezer section to catch ice melting. The cabinet that held the frig was way passed due for replacement (another photo available) Clientele attempted to say hello to everyone about twenty guests, not even grunt. Very unfriendly. The staff at desk and breakfast area staff tried very to make the visit very pleasant.

St Joe

Posted Dec 17, 2016
If you're going to St Joe the perfect place to stay. Staff was awesome. Rooms had bedroom plus alcove with a couch and desk. It's a mid to upper class hotel with mid class rates. Small fitness area BUT a good proportion of machines for anyone to workout. The pool is on the smaller side 1/2 the usual. but indoor and hardly used. Rooms are what one would expect from a mid to upper class hotel. Hot breakfast. They have no kitchen. So. the eggs are institutional. BUT surprisingly not bad. Eggs, sausage, Waffles, are the hot items. then the usual cold. Personally I'd give them only an "A" rather than an "A" plus. I've been to better priced hotels and had worse breakfasts. I was there 2 1/2 days. It worked well for me.. Very well

St Joseph Comfort Suites??

Posted Nov 23, 2016 on Hotels
This hotel is NOT a Comfort Suites. It is a Quality Inn. Not the same quality for the price. Disappointing.

Dear Guest, I'm sorry that you are sooooo hung up on a name. Our hotel is the same as it was when it was a Comfort Suites except for the signage. Our/my standards are still as high as they were before the name changed. Just an FYI, we are Quality Suites not Quality Inn.

Very noisy.

We booked a suite online at what said was Comfort Suites. Online it said we booked a two room suite with a jetted tub. When we got the address it gave it was not Comfort Suites it was Quality Suites and the general manager was really rude. When we got to our room it was a standard room with a regular tub. When I showed the general manager what we booked online and that it didn't match what we booked he was rude again and said you booked a suite that is our suite. I was very disappointed and walked away. The next morning my husband went to check us out and get his receipt and noticed that it wasn't his card that was on the receipt. We booked the so called suite with a MasterCard. The receipt said American Express and my husband doesn't even own a American Express card. The charged the room to someone else and makes us wonder where our card information went to
