Inexpensive hotel in central district.

Older hotel and needs some updating. Tub was stopped up. Caulk looked like a 5 year old put it in. Bed was old too.

$15 for stale donuts and corn flakes

Posted Jan 4, 2016
When you first walk in hotel looks really nice but obviously the downstairs is all they care about. Rooms are Super 8 quality at best - the carpet in our room was dirty and actually pieced together after someone cut a piece out. My daughter went downstairs for breakfast thinking it was a continental breakfast as it was laid out like one. She got a bowl of cornflakes, a donut she spit out because it was stale, and a glass of apple juice and then was handed a bill for $15. If you are going to charge for breakfast it better be a hot meal cooked to order and served by a waitress.

Good stay. Great deal.

The staff is extremely friendly and willing and helpful. The showers were a bit colder than preferred but overall the stay was great. The restaurant in the hotel does not get much traffic so the waits can be slow sometimes. The quality was exceptional for the price I paid. Almost double the price to stay in an IHG hotel.

Nice overnight

Very warm welcome to stay. We understand the hotel is transitioning to Raddison. The only issue was in the log in to the web. Once the front desk helped we were good to "surf the web"

Easy access on edge of downtown.

Pros: Attractive decor; good restaurant; pleasant service.
In process of being rebranded so name not prominent, but this is just temporary. Easy check-in, ample parking. Attractive lobby and public spaces.

Recently renovated; good value

I needed a hotel near the downtown area for an unexpected trip to St. Joe. The hotel has recently remodeled and felt fresh and up to date. I felt comfortable going to the sports bar and grill in the hotel. Room overlooked downtown. Quiet even though near railway. The pool and spa area is very nice. Planning a family gathering there in a few weeks. Reasonable price.

Bed Bugs

Posted Oct 22, 2015
Pros: older nice, transitioning from Holiday Inn to Radisson.
Cons: needs refresh
Title says it all, we admired the room till we went to bed, we called and was immediately given another room after we killed a couple of bed bugs and smeared fresh blood on the sheets. The restaurant was great, the staff were great, the rooms were spacious. we couldn't get to sleep after the incident and we had a long way to drive the next day.

Better with Breakfast

Posted Oct 21, 2015
It was a lovely hotel. Comfy bed and room, great view of river. Would have been better if they had complimentary breakfast.
