I recently stayed at marriott beach casino and resprt and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. From the misleading marketing to the unhelpful management and staff, my stay left me thoroughly disappointed.
This stay was marked by a series of disappointments that revolved around biases, being ignored, and a staff that treated guests as if they didn't belong. It was far from the pleasant and welcoming experience one expects from a hotel. It became apparent that biases existed within the staff. Whether it was based on appearances, backgrounds, or even room categories, some guests appeared to receive preferential treatment while others were sidelined. This blatant partiality left me feeling uncomfortable and unwelcome.
First and foremost, the marketing for this hotel is incredibly misleading while booking through orbitz the hotel marks itself as all inclusive. What added to my frustration was the complete lack of transparency. The hotel did not disclose important information about ongoing renovations, which resulted in noise disturbances throughout my stay. Additionally, I was not informed about certain fees and charges until checkout, which left me feeling deceived.
Perhaps the most disappointing aspect of my stay was the attitude of the management and staff. When I attempted to address my concerns with them, I was met with rudeness and dismissiveness. It seemed as though they had no interest in addressing my grievances or improving my experience.
