The gentleman at the desk was concerned about my bad knee, as our booked room was up a flight if stairs, a younger couple waiting to check in was booked on bottom. Floor. He asked them if they would mind if we switched rooms. They agreed very nicely. We were so greatful for both parties.

Spartan but acceptable
Old but clean, host was polite and accommodating and at the time of our stay it was quiet. Bed very comfortable, wifi good reception as well as TV reception. If all your looking for is a good nights sleep, the price is right. 2 stars is accurate. I’d stay there again for reasons stated.

Place really sucked!!!!!
Sucks, totally sucked. The place was dirty, rugs stained, towels old, old, the only part that was good was the beds were comfortable. TV was not turned on so when we went to watch it later, could not watch it and owners had gone to bed. brown stain on the rug, still wet, which I thought was poo, but my husband said it had to be coffee. lampshades old and disgusting (dirty), never stay here again.

Picture was obviously taken years ago... like the 90's... maybe. You get what you pay for, but not in this case. Room had not been dusted in weeks, everything is old and run down. Carpet... yuck. Bed... mattress is older than me I think. One of the pillows was a cushion with a pillowcase. Bathroom... they actually put tiles on top of a vynil floor... with no grout. They tried to install pvc walls in the tub. That are being held up with finishing nails... I could go on... AVOID THIS MOTEL!!!

Can't ask more for $70 a night. Clean & convenient
We checked in at 1 AM but had no issues as the manager promptly opened the door. There's a phone outside the reception for late night check-ins. The rooms were clean, the linen looked okay and free internet was good. Nothing much to rave about but then what else can you ask for $70 a night. The only negative is that there is no breakfast included and you have to drive a few miles for a restaurant

OK price and comfortable room
We arrived very late for an overnight stay. The owner was very accommodating and professional.The price was all you should pay for a room that you will only be in for a few hours before moving along on your trip. The room was very basic but clean. The shower was excellent. The air conditioner was a little noisy but did function well enough. Was acceptable for an overnight stay.

OK stay, but won't come back again.
OK stay for the price. The water volume from the shower was decent, AC was good, with refrigerator and microwave. However, it looks like the motel owner made lots of shortcuts. The room looked tired. The leg of the sink vanity fell off. The frame of the mirror was out and left on the microwave. The power cord was too short and wouldn't even reach to the power socket. The worst, we were not even sure if the bed sheet was washed or not, probably not. We were thankful there was no bed bug.

Room inundated with bedbugs. Had to email NYD HD.
Room not very clean; maid appeared every other day; room so full of bedbugs that, after being bit numerous times, I had to contact NYS Health Dept.

Absolute. Nightmare.
The room had NO heat whatsoever (which you would assume was needed in DECEMBER). The TV was probably made in 1980 and got literally 6 channels. The room was disgusting, with a thick layer of dirt & dust on the furniture and there were large flying bugs in the room. There was NO hot water when I attempted to shower in the morning. If I had a choice of sleeping under a bridge or staying in this motel again, I would gladly take the night under a bridge.

I feel OK with the price and decent facility that they provided. I meant you get what you pay. Do not expect much,I had small refrigerator,microwave,hangers,bath tub,shower,air-conditioning,and old fashion TV. Door knobs are broken at the front door and in the bathroom. Bed and Bath are good enough and clean. It depends on where of your destination because I stayed here in order to visit Clayton Island,and Boldt Castle,and some part of attraction places in 1000 islands area. This hotel closes to Wal-Mart,Home Depot,Buffalo Wild Wings and so on just less that 5 minutes and 1 mile away from HW-81. My rate is 2.0 by 5.0

Nice Cheap Hotel
This hotel is nice if your just going to use it for sleeping and showering. The bathroom was a little small but it was ok since we didnt spend all of your time in the room.

I walked out of this disgusting place
I drove 14 hrs for work When I arrived the place looked pretty decent from the out side The manage tried to charge me me to up grade the room It was after midnight an all I wanted to do was to shower an get some rest I open the door to the room to see the carpet was all stained Then put my stuff down to shower up an the bathroom was disgusting I went to get management but no one was answering I tossed back the sheets to just go to bed an there was tons of nasty red looking bugs in the bed That when I just grabbed my things an flew out the room to go down the road far from that place an sleep in my truck I am honestly more upset with hotels.com for even recommended this place to me. I

If this hadn't been paid in advance, I would have left. Paint was peeling, there were chips off the tub and sink, the toilet threatened to fall through the floor, there were cigarette burns on the blanket. However the sheets appeared freshly laundered, and the TV worked.

It fulls of dust in the and the towels are unwashed. But these are not the worst, the worst thing is the room smells like in the bathroom. I will not recommend it even though the price is not expensive.

I don't understand why Hotels.com would even list this as one of their properties. Very decrepit actually looked abandoned. Not even worth the cheap price. They should not even be open.

I didn't expect this is a great place before I went. It still surprised me for the bad condition and terrible management. Bath room is dirty and room is is smelly. I did not fell safe at this place either. It felt more like a place at price $30-40.

Not bad for short stay
The room was small, the fridge didn't work. Shower was interesting , hot/cold, pressure /no pressure. Mold on shower curtain. No shampoo, or condition to use. On a good note they did make the bed and give us clean towels for second night. They must be under construction , new plywood on upper level.

There was no soap for showering only a hand soap dispenser. They didnt know we had reservations, they had to use our expedia copy. The TV would ark and shut down. Very hard to get it going. Sometimes it was like it had to cool off to get it back on around five minutes. Unreal. It says office open 24 hours. I left a book in our room and the door as we were told was locked and left the key inside. I went to the office, door was locked, knocked and noone was around. Had to stop on the way home to get my book. Unreal Would like our money back, Would not ever go there again.

This was the most disgusting room I've ever stayed in. We left after 15 minutes and found a different hotel. There were dead flies on the wall, bird feathers in the floor near the bed and the shower was nothing I'd feel clean in. I would never recommend this.

Flies in the Room!!
This place was off the highway a little bit but easy to find if you follow the signs. Googlemaps takes you the wrong way, so don't use that. My biggest complaint is that there were about 20 flies in the room. They must have known it was a problem because there was a fly-swatter in the room. I didn't complain because I had my cat with me, but there was a sign in the lobby that said "No Pets." However, I chose this motel specifically because hotels.com said pets were allowed. I don't normally take my cat with me when I travel, but I was moving to Canada and needed somewhere to stay along the way. Other than the flies, not too bad.

Rainbow motel is not worth staying
We had a worst experience for our one night stay there. The rooms are so small that you hardly can move around the bed and the motel is in middle of nowhere. AC in the room would not blow any cool air and that made the small room uncomfortable to sleep thru the night. I would have felt better sleeping in my than in this hotel.
