Hotel is going through remodling, everthing is organized and no real inconvenience, it is not complete. Staff was very helpful and stay was very pleasant. Would be happy to use this hotel again.

Pros: Nothing but I assume the staff was doing the best they could under awful circumstances.
Location: The hotel is in an industrial area with only a Denny's next door. We drove 5 minutes to get to a movie theater and a few restaurants.
Initially, the smell in the hall was so strong it made my eyes water. In one of our two rooms, the rug was filthy (stained with pieces of hay and other debris) and the curtains were black where the air conditioner blew on them. Also, there were ants crawling over the dresser. We called the desk to ask for another room but were told none was available. They sent housekeeping. The person who arrived challenged us to show the room was dirty, though it was very clear. She said she would have the room vacuumed. That never happened. The ants went into hiding before she arrived (apparently they changed rooms). The second room looked and smelled better. However, the ants came out by the hundreds while we were out to dinner. The hotel's response to our complaint was to bring a huge can of bug spray and wet down the bedside table and the headboard. Honestly, this place was beyond belief! Had we not had our 90 year old mother with us and nowhere else to stay, we would have left immediately. I think we are lucky that the chemical overload didn't seem to affect her. Of course, we did not stay for the second night of our reservation but, since we had paid ahead (through Expedia), we were told by hotel staff that we wouldn't get a refund. After 45 minutes on the phone, Expedia did give us a refund for the night we did not stay. I assume they will fight with the hotel to get their money.

Pros: Can't say anything that I liked about the hotel
Cons: Needs complete renovation from the building to the management. Needs new carpet new sinks or refurbished . Side entry doors need locks fixed.
Location: Airport & Denny's
Stayed one nite at this place & that's too many! The sink bowel dropped to the floor when washing hands. Later that stay found dried Vomit in between beds. Dead bugs around light panel. Oh yea the hotel compensated me $20. LOL! Had a 8 yr old grandson with me who could have been injured by this sink collapse. Stayed at 2 star hotels before and never any this dangerous or unaccountable for there building or guest. The side doors are not secure left open all nite anyone could walk in without a room key. You are not safe at this place anyway you look at it.

Checked in with ease; room was tidy and comfortable; the bed was truly the most comfortable bed we've ever slept in; staff was friendly; our stay was really enjoyable!

Staff I encountered were all friendly and helpful. Place is extremely clean, and, inexpensive too. I plan on coming back next year. Hopefully the pool will be open when I come back in the future.

Staff was friendly & breakfast was nice. Pool was under construction but I wasn't there for that.

I just moved to the St. Louis area and stayed here during my apartment search. The hotel staff were very accommodating throughout my stay, and while the room isn't luxurious, it is clean (which is all I really want). I got the Expedia deal at the time for $55/night, so I consider it a good deal.
