Hotel was not as shown in pictures. It was out of date and our room wasn't clean at all. Also the air conditioner did not work. The staff were excellent

Pros: it was clean
I booked with this hotel and they had a power outage that was apparently more than a few hours- they sent me to another hotel that didn't have a hot tub or the exact same amenities but I had to pay the same price. I was a little disappointed that nothing was done about the inconvenience.

Terrible and oberpriced

Where to start? Maybe that they are under renovation and construction? The cheap reno is not helping the dated used hotel. Not sure how much of our room was renovated. Pink and blue wallpaper sloppily applied and some corners held in lace with caulking, old dated olive green drapes and red stained old carpet. The sink is across the room from the bathroom over by microwave n fridge. Sink & tub surround done in faux olive & black granite. The pool was murky and totally green plus it's on the other side of the windows where people eat breakfast. Bedding clean but not confortable. Our room was in back and the neighbors must have been on their patio watching a sporting event. After they settled down, a very heavy sounding guest arrived in the room above us about 2am and I could actually hear his water run. Then at 5am we found out the dumpsters were right outside our room! Overall skeevy. got little rest. Disappointed that the pool looked like a Petrie dish. You'd expect this poor quality at $39.95 a night not 3 times that.

Pros: Clean and spacious room
Cons: Fill the shampoo and body wash dispensers
Location: Location was close to Cracker Barrel and other restaurants.
Our experience was satisfactory. The room was pleasant and spacious and comfortable. The staff was quick to assist with request we had.

Our stay at Best Western in Arnold.

Pros: everything!
Cons: cannot think of a thing.
Location: close to the big city, but out a ways enough to relax.
We are so glad that Best Western has once again entered the competitive phase. Top notch with all the comfort and good food. Love it! The staff was extremely friendly and when I walked in and said we have a room reserved....she said, "Are you by chance Jolene?" I said yes....she said we have your room ready"..We had just come from a very exciting St. Louis Cardinal win and were very hot and tired...the room felt great and right almost in the same parking lot was a great Cracker Barrel Restaurant. Room was nice and cool...the big King size bed was so inviting...shower was great, and the breakfast provided the next morning was TOP NOTCH!!! We will go back again when we are back in St. Louis. The drive down I-55 was quick and easy. Thank you.

Close to the friends we were visiting

Pros: The location and it was clean. WIFI was available
Cons: See above paragraphs regarding our experience.
Location: We could walk over to a restaurant and it was a few miles from a church so we could attend Sunday mass.
We had two rooms. In one room, the light wouldn't come on around the sink area unless you pushed and pushed the switch. The first night I couldn't get it to come on because I didn't mess with it long enough. There were containers on the wall of the shower for shampoo, lotion, etc. and they were empty or plugged up as nothing would come out. There was one bar of bath soap left on the counter by the sink but none in the bathroom. To wash our hands we had to get the one we used in the bathroom and bring it out to the sink to use. There was no soap dish or anything to lay it on after you got it wet. One room had a broken rod on the curtains so it was difficult to close both sides. The first morning which was a Sunday the food for breakfast was barely warm. The second day it was a little better but not much. Also, we are in our seventies and no one offered to help us with our luggage. The cart was difficult to push in and out of the rooms and off and on the elevator.

Clean and safe stay

We checked in to the Best Western around 3:30. We had excellent service right from the start! The pool was clean and fun but the hot tub lacked heat. The room was clean and decent sized. The bed was not as comfortable as I would have liked, but you get what you pay for.

Pros: The room was very nice & the breakfast that they had were really good.
Cons: The chair for the table/desk was too low, may have been broken & unable to raise chair up.
Location: The places that we wanted to visit were easily reached by means of the interstate and/or the roads.
Really enjoyable & comfortable. Most of the staff was very helpful & friendly.
