"Well-maintained property in nice neighborhood"
This is an older hotel that has been well-maintained. Our room was pleasant and reasonably well sound-proofed, with modern amenities tastefully implemented into an older floor plan. The room had just enough space for a king-sized bed, a desk and chair, and an additional arm chair. There was also a dresser with a flat screen TV on top and two end tables. Electrical outlets were sparse, but the bedside tables had been retrofitted with some. The bathroom was likewise small but with nice fixtures. The shampoo was very nice, and the soap was almost an entire full-size bar. The "European-style" breakfast wasn't European. Don't be looking for baked beans and chocolate shavings. It was the typical American hotel breakfast--pastries, bagels, cereal--with scrambled eggs and a nice selection of fruit including a variety of berries. There are several nice restaurants on the hotel grounds, and a fantastic old-timey theater restored to original condition about 200 feet from the front door. It's like watching a movie in Back to the Future. Wednesday movies were only $5. And of course Forest Park is right there, which is nice.

"Nice hotel. Walking distance to fox theater. "
The hotel was nice & room was clean. Only complaint would be smells in hallways. One morning stinky Parmesan cheese & other mornings damp & musty.

"Good location great staff"
I had a very spacious room. Hotel is lovely, old, but lovely. Only problems I had were internet issues, which was hard for me cuz I was there for work. And, outside my room, road had a steel piece on the freeway which was loud everytime cars went over it- hard to sleep! :(

"Decide, going through upgrades"
The hotel was under construction. We were in the "old style" rooms. Room size is excellent, but the upgrades are overdue.
