Not for business travel

Pros: Clean room, nice staff
Cons: lighting, power sockets, remodeling / updating as hotel shows its age, food/breakfast on premise
Location: Location near downtown probably provides good access to many sites, but hotel/casino property is mostly a parking lot.
Room was not set up to accommodate remote office needed for business travel. Does have wi-fi but lighting and power sockets not quite sufficient. Room simple and clean, but must go across to casino building for food. Did not try casino.

Casino Hotel

Cons: Rate
Location: Close to downtown.
Excessive high price being it was connected to a casino. Expedia rate charged was $40 higher than the price they received from hotel. WHERE IS OUR REFUND???? Rate was published at room check-out. Very close to downtown. Buffet was less than desirable. Casino gambling was not too enjoyable, not very loose.

Great place for a Cardinals baseball week-end.

Pros: Very reasonably priced. Comfortable room, great bed. Convenience to Busch Stadium with free shuttle.
Location: Cardinal ballgames and Grants Farm.
This was the first time we stayed at this hotel and were pleased with the experience. Our room was comfortable and very clean. There was a free shuttle to and from the Cardinal game which was a great bonus. Our breakfast at the casino was delicious. We will definitely stay here again when we come to St. Louis.

Hotel did not give us the River Arch View room Expedia reserved; however, after seeing all the trains/tracks located just below the windows we decided to stay in the Casino view on the opposite side - it was quieter, we had friends who stayed in the Arch view and said it was noisy. At our request they did give us a credit on the room difference. We were in town for the Robotics Competition and needed to be at the convention center by 7AM. Very Disappointed that no decent breakfast was available before 8am - then only in the Casino Bldg. The hotel has an unused serving bar in breakfast room but only a sparsely stocked machine that had very items. Since there are no other closeby restaurants Casino ones should be open 24hrs. Our last night there when we entered the Casino for dinner there was a large pile of human excrement inside the front door- needless to say, no one wanted to eat dinner anywhere there after seeing that. As soon as we returned home we noticed that we had left our cell phone charger cord in the room and sent an email to the hotel; however, to date there has been no reply from hotel.

Thanks for the comments. I am sorry you did not enjoy your stay. I will pass on the information to the housekeeping department about your missing charger. We have a deli that is open almost 24 hours a day closing daily at 4am. Hope you will give us another chance.

Very pleasant hotel near the Dome.

Pros: It was close to the casino and the food was good.
Cons: None
Location: The location is near the Edward Jones Dome and the St. Louis Arch.
The room was very clean and neat. The decor was very pleasing and the view of the St, Louis Arc was very appealing..

Compared to other hotels on this trip, this facility was not as nice other places and more expensive. Food in the only restaurant was poor and very limited choices although information ahead indicated several places to eat. Room was so-so, Only thing going for it was location, location. Close to the metro and we had a view of the arch.

Nice, fun getaway!

Nice and clean but the coffee pot sucked. It was single cup pot, not a regular coffee pot. Other than that hotel was amazing!
