Located within walking distance to historic area.

Nice facility with well-lighted private parking garage. An easy walk to restaurants, shops and walking trail. The room was comfortable, but a little pricey. The breakfast was good but the coffee and hot water were cold by the time we came down at 9:00. Construction area by the foyer was an eye sore as well as the equipment left at the top of the stairs.

Pool closed

The pool was closed the weekend we were there and that was a big reason we went with 3 kids. I think they should have let us know or at least put that on their website. The breakfast area was also closed for renovations so breakfast was in close quarters in the lobby. I was a little disappointed this visit .

Great location, hotel has a lot of potential

Pros: location is great
Location: St Charles Main Street has plenty of shopping and restaurants
When we stayed, it appeared they were under remodeling and construction. So had we arrived two days later, the pool would have been completely closed. So we go the last leg of that pool before it was going to be re-plastered, so not that nice. The room was very tight and small when I thought I had reserved a two Queen suite. The room was very narrow with bad lighting.

Great hotel close to Casino and Historic St Charle

Pros: Staff, cleanliness, and location
Cons: Make sure keys are working properly and finish breakfast room.
Location: Great BBQ next door- Hendricks, with Blues bar, Ameristar casino, Historic St. Charles
Pricing thru Expedia gave us an excellent rate. Staff was very friendly. We had trouble with our keys. Took several tries to get in our room. Breakfast was great but they were redoing their breakfast room and there was not enough room so we had to eat in our room. It was very clean and comfortable.

Disappointing.

Pros: Location is great.
Cons: More professional personnel. Uniformed maintenance.
Location: This location is great. Walking distance to several restraints, bars and usually tons of festivals. There is a beautiful park nearby.
I stayed at this hotel because it was close to my work during an ice storm. I know the area well and this hotel is very close to all the activities which is great. The hotel itself is nice, fairly clean and when I checked in the staff were friendly. Although when I pulled in to park there was a man waving me into a parking spot. He had no identification and was very rugged looking to say the least. My frustration was that they placed me on a floor that was being renovated. The hotel was almost empty and I never seen another person other than the maintenance man (the man fro the parking garage) working on the room NEXT to mine all weekend. I seen him SEVERAL times including the last night when I went into my room and we exchanged pleasantries of "have a good evening". At 4:10 am I woke to a key unlocking my door. There was no knock or announcement and the door just started to open. Luckily I had done the safety on the door and it stopped it. I yelled to get out and there was still no reply. I immediately called the desk and I got the reply from the desk clerk "oh it must have been our maintenance man checking rooms". He knew I was in that room and clearly seen me go in the night before to go to bed. After getting up and getting dressed when I checked out I got pretty much the same reply only this time the maintenance man came around the desk to apologize and give me several more excuses making me feel ever more uncomfortable. Not cool at all and I am not happy!

Walking Distance to Historic St. Charles

Everything was wonderful; can't think of one thing that was lacking! We were there with extended family for an early Christmas weekend and they opened their conference room to allow us to play board games; so much fun!!

Little Bitty Pillows

really little pillows, they were 12 x 12. Asked the front desk for real pillows and they said that's what all the room had. Terrible.
