Easy access to St LouisPosted Oct 3, 2015
Pros: Pool and hot tub good. Quiet area.
Cons: Larger breakfast menu.
Location: 15 minutes to Raceway Park. Denny's next-door, 30 minutes to Forest Park in central St Louis.
We stayed for a week and did not have any problems. Everything was OK, what more do you need. We will go back again.

Clean rooms, reasonable price.Posted Aug 7, 2015
Pros: clean, good parking
Cons: The continental breakfast offered was good but limited to a few basics. No problem a Denny's is next door.
It was HOT outside but the room air conditioner worked perfectly.

Don't Arrive Too Late Or You Will Be WaitingPosted Aug 5, 2015
Cons: The hotel needs a better system to accommodate customers that are arriving late and figure out a way to get it not to smell like stale cigarette smoke
Location: The hotel is conveniently located close to the St Louis Zoo. It was very easy getting to the zoo.
I had notified the hotel that I and my family would be arriving late but when we showed up, there was no one at the reception desk. We tried calling the hotel from the lobby but no one answered. Eventually a person answered and she was up in a room cleaning! We had to wait for about 30 minutes before we could even check in. It was about 10PM, it had been a long drive and we had little children with us. She then went on to explain that she forgot to lock the door that leads from the entrance way into the lobby and if she had remembered, we would have been standing out there waiting for her. She sensed our annoyance and responded with "I was just doing what my boss asked me to do!" We finally get into our room and it just felt wet. The floor had a wetness to it and even the bedding. It seemed to just be very humid in the room because once the air was turned up, the room wetness feeling went away. The hotel smelled to stale cigarette smoke as well. But the hotel did suit its purpose as being just a place for myself and family to sleep in until the next day when we were traveling further to St. Louis.

Bring room freshenerPosted Aug 4, 2015
Overall, this place works for an overnight when traveling. The room had a pretty strong odor and I don't know if it they were trying to cover up the smoke or something else. Generally it was clean enough, the pool was nice, and the staff friendly. Breakfast was good enough, coffee, cereal, yogurt, and oatmeal. We had a microwave and a fridge so we made lunches and breakfast in the room ( am gluten free so I only had the hotel coffee).

Disappointed.Posted Jul 28, 2015
Shocked to find that the continental breakfast consisted of cereal and oatmeal. We had to have our room key reset twice in as many days. The towels were the smallest and thinnest I have ever seen. It seemed that the management did not care about their customers.

The room smelt moldy it was non-smoking. Not perfect conditions. Breakfast was simple. But we was on the way to Colorado, the location is perfect near I-70 & gas station.

Could of been betterPosted Jun 12, 2015 on Hotels
I had a reservation for a smoking room. I check in and was given a non smoking room. Took forever for the girl to fix it. Almost went to another hotel. I think more time needs to be spent cleaning the rooms. The room we were in had sunflower seeds all over the place. Wasn't from us.

The room was ok, but will consider it pricey for 75$, Air conditioner was not working correctly. Ok to stay a night or passing through
