Our room was fine but our bathroom was not great. The door was painted white on the interior of the bathroom but it was very sloppily done & paint was on the floor. Additionally & more importantly, there were no hooks for towels so we had to hang them over the shower curtain rod and with 3 of us, it was challenging. Also, our refrigerator had no shelves so it wasn’t all that useful. Lastly, there weren’t enough outlets to accommodate 3 people & their technology. One outlet wouldn’t even hold the cord, so we were automatically down 2 plugs. Aside from our personal issues, we were there with a hockey team that stayed a whole week, as we did, & they were not allowed to extend one room so their bus driver could rest. They were also told two different checkout times. How that works, I don’t know, but how do you not know what your checkout time is? Would I stay here again? No.

The doubletree was very nice, only one exception the seats in the lobby are too low for those of us whom have disabilities.

When we first arrived, I was greeted by the very nice security officer who informed me the employee was on a break. So, I had to wait to check in. When the employee returned from break, he was very pleasant and got us checked in. When we got to ‘our’ room, I opened the door, and there is a man in there! That was so scary for both us and the other guest. We went back to the desk, the employee did try to apologize and give us a coupon for breakfast, but we declined. We finally arrive to an empty room. The bathroom had a towel balled up on the floor. Hair in the sink and tub, and the tub backed up when trying to shower. The shower gel had clumps in it, like it had been sitting for quite sometime. There was even a wadded up dryer sheet in the floor. The heat barely worked and made an awful noise. We needed ice. We were on the 8th floor. We had to go to every floor until the 4th floor finally had ice. Needless to say, no sleep was had. This is the most awful experience I’ve ever had at a hotel. We usually stay at Double Tree when we travel, but I think, that will be changing. We paid good money to rest, and it was a waste of time and money.

Lobby is beautiful. Then you get to your room and it’s a total dump. Carpet is nasty. Something red smeared into the carpet. Ceiling tiles falling apart and broken in rooms and hallways. Curtains broken. No microwave. Bathrooms small, tub/shower is old. Heat/AC is loud. We were here for a local tournament and they contract with the tournament - they’re supposed to provide breakfast. The breakfast was gross pre-made tiny bfast sandwiches in a warmer, juice, raisin granola bars, tiny yogurts and coffee. That’s not breakfast for 16 year old boys. There were literally 2 employees guarding the breakfast basically harassing us every time “this is only for people here for soccer and hockey!” Right lady. I’m here for that. Rude and not friendly at all. Like it’s a gourmet meal. It’s not. Did not use the pool but it’s tiny. You need your room key to get onto the elevators which makes me feel like there are safety issues. Definitely would NOT stay here again. Does Hilton know their hotel is awful?

The front desk agent was extremely pleasant and helpful upon check-in. That was about the best of our hotel stay. We checked in around 8 pm; we had reservations at a different hotel, but their pool was closed for cleaning, on NYE of ALL NIGHTS (huge inconvenience), so we had to hurry and book a room somewhere and ended up here. The rooms were old and outdated; definitely not worth $200 . The pool went to 7 ft so my kids loved that, but it was super cold, and the seating area around the pool was literally infested with roaches. It was disgusting. There was a trash bag that sat outside the elevator door on our floor, the entire time along with the vacuum at the end of our hallway. The lobby area was nice and large perfect for gathering before you headed out or in. Would I stay here again probably not.

We called and asked how late the pool was open they said 11 we get there she assured us it was open so we got ready to swim go down and pool was closed at 10pm was not happy with that. There was still poop on our toliet from previous guests very unsanitary

The front desk agent was extremely pleasant and helpful. She was very nice upon check in. The lobby is big and spacious, perfect if you want to gather before hand and have a drink at their bar before you head out or head in. The pool is ok, water was freezing but it does go as deep as 7 feet…and the pool area is literally infested with roaches. It was pretty disgusting. The rooms are very old and outdated. The beds were way too soft.

Westport has many great eating spots near by! We are sorry that you missed out. As far as the cleanliness of your room our front desk staff and housekeeping would of addressed any issues if brought to their attention. Any rate questions should be addressed with Expedia as the 3rd party charged you and not the hotel.

The website needs to explain this is a cashless facility first off i was disappointed when we arrived about this, the ac system in the room didnt work and we had to complain afew times before maintenance came and resolved the issue, electrical outlet covers were missing posing a hazard, the hall way ice machine didnt work for the money we paid we just expected a little better

This was an older hotel but well kept! The rooms were spacious and clean! Did not offer a fee breakfast but an amazing restaurant with a buffet style breakfast that was outstanding! I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely use this location again in the future!

We were stuck between two doors for about five minutes and the front desk never came or sent anyone to help us. People were drunk in the lobby and there was vomit in an elevator and no one bothered to put a sign on it. The front desk was horrible!

We've had better experiences at this hotel.
We had a room next to the elevator, so the amount of noise was not unexpected. The room could use updates, there are tears in the upholstery and stains in the carpet.

Where to begin. My trip started off with a bang. I resereved a doubke Queen bed room for my Mom and I to attend a Field Hockey Tournament with my daughter. Her teammates and her were in other rooms. However, when I get to the Hotel, they can't uphold my reservation. They only have King bed rooms and its negotiable/non-refundable. Who doesnt lole to sleep with their Mom right. Then we get up to the room to find the air conditioner and bathroom havent been cleaned properly. Not to mention the Hallways had trash and debris everywhere from all the partying throughout the night. Also dont bring any electronics because all the outlets except one didnt work or hold your chargers in place for proper charging. The one ai thought worked I guess couldnt be touched because somehow during the night, it came un connected. Imagine waking up in the morning to a dead cell phone. The worst part of the stay though was probably the baggage carts. They were never anywhere to be found. Not when we checked in. Not when I had to bring a spread of food and drinks down to the dirty conference room for our team meals. And definitely not when I checked out. I even went to all the floors to try and find one. They were like that elusive "Wheres Waldo" character from back in the day. Overall we made it work but the experience was disheartening. Hopefully they will get it together there and start facilitating a better experience for their guests. Especially if they are gonna host Sports Tournaments.

Thank you for your feedback. Most of our sports folk come though a group booking where we can try to keep teams and groups together. Our carts are often in high demand for these weekends and sadly some folks keep then all weekend and do not share with others. As far as trash in the hall I will inform our housekeeping team to check more often on busy weekends to help gather the teams discarded fare and our electrical team to check that rooms outlets are secure and replace any worn covers found. Last visit was a two night stay. No hot water in bathroom sink and no shampoo was installed in shower. Instead it was two body washes. For the nightly room rate I expect better from a Hilton run property.

I have to give praise to how clean the room was. The staff really paid attention to detail when taking care of the rooms. It's unfortunate that the hotel itself is just so worn down, it makes it uncomfortable to be in. The carpet was torn and threadbare. There was quite a bit of old water damage to one wall and the lamp shade on the light on that wall was stained with water. The light on the bathroom had caused the paint above it to peel. The toilet seat was stained and peeling. There were so many layers of stained caulking around the bottom of the toilet, that it made it look dirty when it wasn't. I'm sure they have had to repair it multiple times. The tub and toilet were so out dated, clean, but old. All of the furniture was chipped and damaged. The door to the room had a gap where I could stick my fingers through. It remained locked and secure, but it was strange. And the TV was probably from 2005 and very small for the size of the room. And there was an old, musty smell to the room. The staff were friendly, but they all deserve to work in a better facility. Whoever owns the hotel hasn't updated it in decades.

To start off we were put in a room that we didn’t book. Due to them over booking. Then we switched rooms the 2nd night. Then on the 2nd day our bathroom flooded from the shower above us. Then they tried to book somebody else into our room at 4:30AM. Not much help from front desk.

We didn’t get our double rooms. And between us and the kids we couldn’t fit in the 3 beds. We were supposed to have 4. T he room walls had holes and cracks in them, the bed side tables were broken. Tv worked off and on. Refrigerator wasn’t working. We couldn’t find another hotel last minute or we wemouldnt have stayed. You have to pay for breakfast. Pool and workout area was the best thing on property. I would not recommend

We requested 2 queens and received a King with a couch and when we requested a cot, it never arrived. The front desk was very busy and quite unpleasant. Either get more front desk staff or friendlier, more competent staff who can multi-task and be friendly at the same time.
