Short Weekend Stay

Clean hotel and room, however bed was hard as a rock. Plus second night was loud due to party in next room. Its a good hotel for under $100 a night.

The hotel wasn't as described online. I booked a room for a soaking tub, and our room did not even have a bathtub at all. Had to go back and forth between Expedia and the hotel blaming eachother for the mix up. I had stayed at another Hilton Garden Inn before and loved it. This room was disappointing compared to the other one I had stayed at.

Pros: Front desk staff was excellent per the usual. The bar and bartender was great. Room service was delicious although the guy was rude.
Cons: Clean the walls. Fix the tub. Fix the A/C. Tell the room service guy to not hang up on an order with "K" and then 'Click'. Work on the b-fast crew!
Location: No leisure work trip. Be careful of the area. The gas station guy across the HWY scolded me for getting a drink from where he had just mopped.
No matter where I go... I look to stay at a Hilton Garden Inn. Its not top of the ine luxury and its not trying to be, but it has some great features that make it a great stay and the rooms a great! This one just did not hit on all of the high notes. The front desk staff was excellent, per the usual. Check-In and Check-Out were flawless and enjoyable. I swear they have the most charismatic people yet professional minded folks as their first impression. Kudo's on this. Where I take issue were in two places... First was my room. It was in great working order and the bed was nice and everything was clean. However, there were chips out of the tub that made it unattractive and I don't know why... just unappealing to use the shower. Also, under the desk where I went to put shoes next to a garbage can there was a smudge that looked like blood. Ya' know how if you hit your hand on a wall it makes a weird print? Also, the air conditioner was VERY loud. I chose to sweat it out. The other thing was the breakfast At all other HGI's the waitress brings a pad, lets you fill it out or takes an order and then you go to the bar and get cold items you want while they make your eggs or the delicious French toast. Not this one. I didn't think it was an option as no one said anything. Just the usual stuff at the cold bar with the addition of hot plates with under cooked bacon and other stuff. At the end, I saw a lady with eggs. Disappointing and still $13.

Hotel was nice and Rooms were good. Though what I didn't like was the sofa , not sure when was it last cleaned. The extra blanket for an additional guest was used beyond its life..high time it should be changed. The Restaraunt and its staff needs to be applauded. Food was awesome! Overall a decent hotel. Needs a little attention towards small things.

Pros: Just about everything!
Cons: The only improvement could be with the bed mattress. They were too firm & a little lopsided.
Location: The location was good for access to local sightseeing. Not too many good eating places close by.
Our stay in St. Louis was enjoyable. Hilton Garden Inn is close to Lambert and I70 which made getting around town convenient. We would stay here again on a return trip to St. Louis.

Pros: The actual bed was soft, that is it!
Cons: Putting pool towels in room or in pool area so people do not have to ask for extra.
Location: St Louis has millions of options.
To start, the parking is awful. We had to park on the opposite side where our room was. I had wondered what would happen if they overbooked the parking lot what would people do. Then after a long day out we came back to the hotel to sit in the Jacuzzi but found they did not supply enough towels in our room for pool and to take a shower so thought towels would be in the pool area but they were not! Had to go all the way back to the lobby to request a towel for pool. Third, there was a large group also staying on the same floor with more than seven children who ran in and out of their room (slamming the door every time) and up and down the halls ALL EVENING AND NIGHT. My boyfriend and I did not get good rest and had to be up early the next morning for a trip to the zoo. Last but not least, when we went to breakfast which cost almost $12.00 (not worth it) we had to ask for EVERYTHING including a cup for coffee, utensils, a straw and spoon! Not only was the service very disappointing for a Hilton Hotel, they brought my boyfriend a coffee mug that had RED LIPSTICK MARKS ON BOTH SIDES!!!! Instead of apologizing the waitress thought is was funny and never apologized. We brought all this up during our check out and the young lady at the front desk said she would get with management and call us back that same day around 3pm. No one ever called and when we called the manager said there was nothing they can do since we booked with a third party!!! Is that true?
