Was there for a funeral

Some of my family choose to say here so I did as well. My niece past away so we were there for her funeral. Wow what a beautiful hotel this was. Everyone was so nice and helpful. Oh the bed, so comfortable. The pool was warm and relaxing. If you go eat breakfast I hope you get Gloria and Curtis (he loves to bowl) they where awesome. The young lady at the bar Lauren I believe her name was, she was a great waitress always watching over you to make sure your good .Rubin at the ccounter always willing to help with a big smile on his face. Cannot forget Oscar one awesome man. The one that oversees the dinning area I call him big Curtis, very nice.

Thought this would be a nice hotel

Cons: Everything
When I booked this hotel I thought Hilton's were nice hotels. Overall I was just really disappointed. We booked a King sized room with a sofa bed as well. When we got to our room it was a very small room with a queen bed and no sofa bed. When we went to the front desk they brushed us off and said they had nothing else available They offered no kind of compensation and said all the rooms cost the same. I know I paid at least $10 more for the king size. The A/C also did not work properly. It got up to 76 degrees in our room no matter how low we had it turned down. This hotel also had a bar in the lobby and the bartenders were not friendly at all!! We encountered one nice hotel employee on our way out.

Pros: The staff was great! Everyone was very friendly and helpful, above and beyond!
Cons: The pool was nice and warm, but a little small for the size of the hotel. It was really crowded the first night we were there.
Location: It was right off the freeway so it was easy to get to any of the major sites in St. Louis.
We would stay again! I didn't love that we had to pay extra for parking, I would have rather had that included. I don't like the feeling of "hidden fees."

OK room for the price

Quiet but far from luxurious

Excellent staff but the hotel is antiquated. No mini refrigerator, ice machine dribbles out small amount, sink didn't drain water, no convenient electrical outlets except in bathroom. Being right next to the airport the soundproofing is amazing.

Close to airport, but dark room.

Hotel was friendly, but our room was dark even with all the lights on in the room. Hard to see what was even in your suitcase. The tub was curved on sides and felt slick. The shower curtain was challenging to cover both ends of the tub. Being semi short, I was challenged. There was hair on the floor near the toilet and stuck to base of toilet. Shuttle to airport was great and timely.
