Just stay @ a Drury

The employees were either very nice or rude. There was no middle ground. The shower door handle was broken. There is a cold faux wood floor through out the entire room. They were not laid well. It was very noisy. We could hear "everything" in the room next to us. I need ear bleach. The bed was great. The pool was good. The hot tub was old without very much power. We will not stay here again.

Pet stench

Very strong dog stench everywhere, elevators and hall ways had a very unpleasant pet smell.

Stay here often as I'm in town

I like this hotel and stay when in town every few months Clean Staff is great Rooms are fine. Not spacious but colors easy and neutral. Love Window seat room. Fridge is nice to have. Pool is clean as is workout area that has weight and Ball and more open feel than some hotels if this class. I do feel that hotel is a bit stingy with snacks that they put out. With kids, no breakfast included is missed- but I prefer crisp rooms good service quiet layout ( rarely hear guests from rooms) and good service to breakfast. I'll continue to stay here when I come through as I've been disappointed in other are hotels or they do not have the airy more open feel due to decor On my stay again list.

Professional front desk staff, cleanliness issues

Called ahead to inform the hotel that we would be checking in late, no problems with that but, the first room we checked into on the 4th floor the sheets on both beds and the pillows/top covers had hairs on them. Not sure if they were human or pet but I suspect probably not pet. We returned to the front desk and let the desk clerk, Jason, know of the issue to which he gave us new keys to a different room (also 4th floor). That room also had hairs on the bed & one bed had a discolored stain on the top cover. Being that it was late we were just going to throw towels over the beds and make due but upon returning downstairs to retrieve our luggage Jason asked if the room was better than the first & we informed him unfortunately it was not. He then proceeded to show us a room on the first floor, which was much better and very clean. It appeared to us that perhaps the first 2 rooms (on the 4th floor) had actually been cleaned but perhaps the dryer lint catch had not been properly cleaned out so the sheets still had extra "debris" on them when put on the beds. This is the only way I can think that 2 rooms like that would have such an issue or else the maids on the 4th floor just don't do a good job. For the $ of the rooms, no free breakfast & the cleanliness issues we will not be staying here again. I will say though Jason at the front desk handled the whole situation very professionally and made every effort to accommodate us. Great professional front desk staff, poor maids......
