My room was freezing and the an engineer was sent to my room to fix it. The room was warmer for one night and then went back to becoming a freeze box. In addition, when entering the parking lot the arm to get into the parking broke and fell on my car causing damage to it. No one called me while within my stay of a week. The day after getting home I received a phone call from a representative of the hotel chain.

A most pleasant place, comfortable, well designed, with a fantastic staff. The staff was absolutely lovely and helpful and the space is modern, soothing and an easy place to make home. I found Le Meridien fit all my needs, central, welcoming and easy on the eyes.

Love the neighborhood. Properrty is in good condition. The bathrooms are very small - when I spread my arms, I can touch both sides. Maid service is a consistent issue (I've stayed there many times). You leave the room at 10,00am, come back at 4.00pm and it's still not clean. They pull up to the door at 4.30 and you have to leave again to get the room cleaned.

This hotel is old, tired and offers tiny rooms with bathrooms barely larger than a commercial airline and odors reminiscent of a nursing home or glade gel factory. We ended up having to switch rooms multiple times. They did offer us a credit as a result but that was eaten up by bogus parking charges. I’d strongly recommend looking elsewhere as this is not up to the standards that they advertise. Tiny rooms with tiny bathroom, odors and short scratchy robes with towels that don’t absorb water. Other than that it was ok.

The room was awesome, very large, spacious, great view, but the lighting in the room and the bathroom is horrible, only lamps in the room, just makes it so dark and you need to have all the lamps on.

From arrival to departure after 2 nights, EVERYTHING was perfect. Easy valet service, friendly front desk, nice appointed room, very well equipped and nice fitness center, great coffee in the lobby for purchase and best of all, room service food was excellent. We ate 2 meals from room service and BOTH were excellent. Steak meal, Salmon club, Hamburger and Steak Sandwich we ALL perfect. We will be back.

Very surprised as to how dirty and poorly kept this was - from food all over the floors in the elevators, to sticky night tables in the room, marks all over the walls, debris on the floor. Felt dirty. Room was very uncomfortable- humid and a/c barely worked. Tiny bathroom. Would not recommend and would not return.

We loved our short stay here. Rooms were very nice and even though the bathrooms are small, everything is provided and updated. The outdoor pool and workout room is great. Front desk is helpful and check in was easy. Great area to stay in if you prefer to be outside the downtown.

Le Méridien in Clayton Mo is the Best!
Le Méridien in Clayton MO is always our “Go to” hotel when we visit St Louis. It’s the best and has a surprisingly good restaurant for a hotel.

Need more counter space
The first time we stayed here, I was enamored with the decor, room style, everything. The second time, I realized that I really do need 1) more bathroom counter space 2) a comfy chair to rest, 3) a bath fan and better lighting, and 4) an in-room refrigerator. I still like the atmosphere, but may try a different set-up next time.
