The only criticism I have is the shower head squealed when I took a shower. I told the gal at the front desk when I checked out and she said she would make a note for maintenance to fix it. The staff was friendly and accommodating. I would stay there again.

The room was clean, the shower was bad, because the floor was cracked and had been repaired, poorly. It could cut someone. Not certain what's going on with the pool, but it was covered the entire time we were there. Front desk was helpful and friendly. The back parking lot need to be cleaned, trash and broken glass, overall the hotel is ok. Need to pay attention to the details and fix what is broken, correctly.

Safe, out of the way, but close to many amenities

In town for a family funeral

Sleep Inn was close to family which is why we picked it initially but it was very suitable for our needs as well.

Quiet location

Pros: Indoor pool and free breakfast offered
Nice safe, quiet location. I had my 8 year old son with me and he enjoyed the indoor pool

I thought the hotel was pretty run down. However, what it lacked in aesthetic appeal I think it attempted to make up for in the free breakfast. Additionally, it was conveniently located near the highway, eateries and activities.

Place was nice, but did have trouble with hot water. We only stayed one night, so hopefully they got it fixed. Probably should have told us, but while checking out the staff was friendly and said they were working on it.

Value for money

Pros: There is lots of space in the room. The fridge, coffee maker is included in the cost. The breakfast is hot & there is a lot to choose from.
Cons: The staff needs to double check what is missing in the room.--No coffee cups. They lacked towels for 4 people. Elevator had musky smell.
Location: Historic Main Street has gorgeous architecture. The Foundry Art Center is a great space for art. Kokomo Joe's Fun Center is nearby in St. Peters.
The hotel is nicely updated, the breakfast had a lot more than I expected.--Eggs, biscuits, gravy, sausage, waffles, variety of bread, yogurt, even cream cheese, honey, etc. We didn't get to check out the pool. The room is big with several tables to use, including a fold out couch and coffee table. Coffee maker and fridge included. The bathroom is small, but the sink is outside which helps. Take note that we had a shower. Overall, a good experience at a very fair price.

Not our first choice next time.

Overall we had a decent stay at this hotel. We were traveling with a large group of people. When we were leaving we found out that another of the people staying found bed bugs in their room. Next time we won't be staying at this hotel.
