Could have been better

Pros: it was close to restuarants
Bathroom had black mold growing on door, shower door ready to fall off, toilet was loose, friends traveling with us had bed bugs and reported them to management, rooms was comped but infected room was released back to other people to use.

Nice clean, comfortable room.

Nice clean, comfortable room. Our toilet periodically cycled which meant it has a small internal leak and the toilet above our room was worse as we could hear it constantly leaking and filling all night long. Told staff...hopefully someone takes care of it.

Great location to SLYSA Fields

Hotel was ok. Free cookies in the evening were AWESOME. The gentleman working the breakfast room was absolutely great. Very pleasant, helpful man! Thank you!!

Loud

The air conditioner was really noisy and the toilet ran the entire night. We were on the first floor near the breakfast room so you could hear almost everything including slamming doors.

great location, staff

Pros: staff location
Cons: cleaning in halls and need to fix toilets in rooms and lobby
breakfast was nice. some rooms needed to have things fixed. We had a problem with our toilet , first day they fixed it second day they changed our room. just need a little hall cleaning. Great location but first time getting to it is a little confusing. staff was friendly and very helpful. both Pools closed

We got woken up at 4 am to the fire alarm going off. Once we got out safely and made our way to the front desk it was determined that there was some kind of CO2 leak in a closet by the pool. We were told everything was fine before the fire department showed up and told to go back to our rooms. It wasn't a very good trip for our anniversary. We won't be going back there. The place looked dirty and needed updated.

It could have a much higher rating except for the poor TV reception for the entire weekend and the loud AC unit.

Room was not clean. Half eaten food behind couch from previous occupants. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was okay.

Dirty hotel with a bug problem.

Dirty facilities with bugs and the housekeepers have their children with them cleaning the rooms.

Dirty and infested with bugs..Disgusting.

Our baseball team booked here for a local tournament. we had 6 rooms. Everyone complained about how dirty or smelly their room was. My room was infested with ants and my sisters room had a huge spider on the pillow as soon as they walked in. The hotel was booked up and she was scared to stay so she stayed with someone else because the hotel did nothing to help other then come in and spray a little. I went in the room later and saw the same large spider near the tv and killed it but their was concern that there was more so we were unable to use the room. My room had an area that was crawling with ants. It was the first table you come to so i sat my stuff there not seeing them at first and it was tired. The next day i saw all the activity. It was awful.. They ended up in my luggage, in my purse, when i tried to clean some they crawled on me...It was disgusting. After complaining a lot they comped my room but would not comp the spider infested room that my sister could not stay in. The manager admitted they had a big ant problem there but no wonder they do. Housekeeping doesn't vacuum well at all. There was also so many dirty areas where they don't vacuum the edging of the room or clean out trash cans and old food was behind a couch.. I am appalled. I will never stay at another Sleep Inn hotel again due to this one in St. Charles even though others I stayed in were good.
