Nice hotel but confusing layoutPosted Sep 25, 2015
Pros: location, cleanliness
Cons: Better signage and better information in room about facilities
Location: We went to awesome city museum and arch. Cardinal stadium is also close by. Eat at Pappy's BBQ down the street and The Fountain, both were great
Lovely, comfortable hotel in a good location for downtown activities. Our problem was finding our way to our room! We checked in at lobby and was told where the parking lot was located. After parking we entered the Union Station facility at the door from the crosswalk to parking lot we see sign that says hotel access so we try to use the elevator located there but our card will not work. I go back to the hotel lobby from the outside of building & tell desk clerk my card let me into building but not elevator & she told me it was the wrong elevators. She told me where the elevators were located & I commented that a map would have been nice, but she didn't offer one. On checkout, we had received a restaurant charge we didn't make so I went to desk to inform them. A staff member asked how our stay went at which point I told her that about our confusing start and that we didn't really have a good feel for the facilities since we hadn't been provided a map or directions to restaurant, pool, fitness room, etc. She told me there were maps & provided one to me. She offered to deduct one day of parking fee for our inconvenience so overall I was pleased.

Excellent, well situated hotel.Posted Sep 21, 2015
Location: In the downtown area. About half an hours walk from the Arch, although the light rail Metro system is attached to the hotel and cuts this journey.
A unique hotel filling a large part of the former railway terminus. My room was in the modern part, situated where the platforms would have been. A spacious well presented room. No complaints at all. The breakfast buffet was also very good. And visit to the lobby for the laser light show is a must. The only disappointing part is the attached shopping arcade which is not doing well, with about half the shops empty. As well as the St Louis Arch, I would recommend the Missouri Botanic Garden, and Forest Park for the museums.

Beautiful spacePosted Sep 21, 2015
My husband and I stayed 1 nite at union station. The staff was very helpful, friendly, and accommodating. The lobby is breathtaking and the nightly light show was fun. Continental breakfast was better than some full menu resteraunts. Would definitely come back

IncrediblePosted Sep 15, 2015
Pros: Hotel staff, room quality, ambience, light show
Location: Arch, Museums, Football, Baseball, River tours
We chose the hotel for it's location for a family reunion and to go to a Football game. The ambience of the hotel is incredible and the hotel staff including Managers are the best. The nightly light shows in the union station hall/bar are wonderful. You will not be disappointed.

Amazing hotelPosted Sep 13, 2015
Really enjoyed my stay at the hotel. I am from Pittsburgh and needed a place to stay near the ballpark for a weekend series and this was perfect location for a really good price. Staff was helpful, and room was very well kept.

Beautiful, convenientPosted Sep 10, 2015
Pros: All staff were super helpful and in a good mood. Offering to do things before you even ask.
Cons: More signage outside the elevators. It is a little confusing that some rooms are below the Lobby.
Location: Busch Stadium, The Arch, City Museum, Old Courthouse, Riverfront
We stayed 4 nights over Labor Day weekend. Hotel is beautiful. Lightshow and music highlights the history of St. Louis.

Close to the arch,Posted Sep 9, 2015
Very nice hotel. Close to Arch, City Museum and the trolley. The light show is awesome. A little of a hike to your hotel room from the parking lots that are available. Over all experience was great.

Not worth the moneyPosted Sep 8, 2015
the front desk staff was extremely rude. When I was asking about my bill because I had a double charge. The receptionist was rude and would roll her eyes; which made me lose my temper. Just unexceptable for the Customer service.

Nice full service hotelPosted Sep 3, 2015
Pros: Staff very friendly & knowledgeable, room clean & comfortable
Cons: it's obvious that they have security concerns there as many facility doors require room key to gain access
Location: it's a bit off of downtown and not a lot of restaurants nearby but Union Station has lots of shops/stores for necessities
Stayed two nights for trade show; room very comfortable, hotel staff excellent, room service food great
