Check in desk agents were great. The hotel is amazing. So glad we stayed there. On the last night, my wife was getting in the shower when she noticed there were no bath towels. I told her to go ahead with her shower and I would go to the lobby and get the towels. The gal at the desk said she would send some to the room. My wife was almost finished and still no towels, so I called. Towels will be sent. They never were. My wife used a hand towel. My son and his wife didn't get their towels either. If its the hotels policy to not furnish towels the night before checkout, so they don't get stolen, they had best rethink it.

We loved staying here. The historical atmosphere. The location. The food and staff were great. Housekeeping horrible. Forgot to give us towels. Left our room open. Plumbing leaked.

Room was incredibly dirty: including dirt in the sheets, hair in the shower, and all furniture and surfaces were covered in dust. Broken items in the room: like the curtain rod and the top lock. Items left from someone else. And the aquarium was supposed to be open until 8 but it closed at 5 today. It was disappointment. It didnt feel like our room was ready for guests and definitely not what we paid for. The hotel has a lot to do in the area and in union station alone, but I hope this isnt a common experience. It is a beautiful first impression with the lobby and the room itself is nice.

Good location. Beautiful lobby with light show on the hour from 5:00-10:00 pm. Getting to the room is a bit confusing, but it's an old building. Bed and pillows were comfortable. The room was quiet (except for chairs scraping on the floor below us in the lounge). I think the room could've been more clean, specifically the bathroom and windows. Not enough towels provided. It does feel a little tired and I wouldn't call it a 4-star hotel. It's got old charm and you're paying for the location. Staff members were nice. Maggie O'Brien's and The Pitch next door both have great food.

It took a very long time to get extra sheets for the hideaway sofa bed. I needed to go to the front desk in order to get more toilet paper. The late night front desk staff were not very friendly. A piece of the cabinet in the bathroom fell off after bumping it a bit. The bathroom was very dusty as well.

We loved this hotel and property around it! The environment was fun and absolutely gorgeous inside. The staff were efficient and friendly. However I only gave this a 3 star overall rating because we booked a room with two beds for 3 adults and we were given a room with only one bed. They were unable to accommodate us with the proper room. They ended up bringing us a rollaway bed. Then at 5am we were evacuated for a fire emergency. This was of no fault of the staff but definitely inconvenient. Ending note, we would stay again and give another chance to get our room right.

The sheer size of the building was impressive. Definitely liked that. The hotel was fun to explore. One and only one complaint is I feel with its size there could be more stores. That alone was a disappointment however doesn’t mean I won’t go back. I definitely will. Create shops. Just saying. Thanks for having us.

Lovely property with an imposing and historic reception area. My quibble was with my room. There was no tissue in the room or bathroom, and no pen or paper. I thought these items were standard! Front desk staffer when I checked out was very nice and had a great sense of humor (9am on 2/8)
