Pros: Location, updated suite.
Cons: Our experience at the pareston bar was horrifu. Male and female bartenders were rude. The bar was dirty constantly.
Location: Glasses and bottles sat on bar when you finished, it didn't matter if you were gone or still sitting. Male bartender was horrifically rude.
Hotel room was good. Nice quality for the money. Great location.

Good location great staff

Cons: Internet & hard to sleep cuz of noise

I had a very spacious room. Hotel is lovely, old, but lovely. Only problems I had were internet issues, which was hard for me cuz I was there for work. And, outside my room, road had a steel piece on the freeway which was loud everytime cars went over it- hard to sleep! :(

Beautiful, historic hotel. Staff was phenomenal and would definitely stay in the hotel again.

Perfect stay

Pros: Starbucks; security to get up the elevator; timely valet
We traveled in for a couple of Cardinals games over the weekend. This is a very nice hotel in a great location. Check in was easy - the staff was personable and professional. We stayed in a double queen room with two of our young daughters and everything met or exceeded our expectations. Thank you!

Don't use valet. They will damage your car.

This is an old hotel that has had some decent updates, several years ago. Waited for a half an hour to get checked in, only to be told the room wasn't ready and we arrived at 4PM. Was told I would be paged when room was ready. An hour later, waited in line again to be told, "Oh, it's just now ready". The room was OK. No refrigerator though, but definitely a spot for one! I used valet parking and found my car damaged later in the day (guess I will be conducting a walk around before and after ever using valet again!) Called this in immediately and was advised what was required of me. Three weeks later was issued a denial on a $411 repair bill. I love the location of this hotel and its pool. The onsite restaurant is nothing short of great. Otherwise, I would suggest finding another hotel nearby.

Zoo, museums and great dining within walking distance. Staff and facilities excellent! One guy at the front desk acting snooty about us booking the Club Suite on Expedia, but other than that the staff was exceptional. Can't say enough good things about Maggie!
