Amazing old hotel. Great food at the restaurants, price was unbelievable. The best hotel I have ever stayed in.

Every amenity available with comfort and class! It's a great location to enjoy all of St Louis's free museums and zoo!

Disappointing

Great location. Never replaced our water in room, had to ask for missing robe. When we called for bellman upon checkout they said they would get to it when they could because they were too busy. When we got downstairs with our luggage there were 5 bellman standing around. The day before we had to search down a valet to get keys to our car that had been pulled around. We had drinks at the Chase club and had to go to bar 3 times to get served. Bartender was excellent but the waitress was lacking. The service on the concierge floor surpassed all other service. We did see a movie in the theater and it was wonderful! Their was an organ playing for entertainment prior to showing and the snack bar offered cocktails as well as the traditional popcorn.

Perfect room with a view for a girls weekend

Pros: Beautiful interiors and staff very friendly
Cons: The elevator card was very tricky to work. Also when we ordered Room Service we ordered 3 entrees but were only given 2 sets of silverware, one napkin
Location: Great location for visiting CWE restaurants and shops
I reserved a 2 bedroom suite to celebrate my mother in law and step daughter's birthday so it was for the 3 of us. Very spacious, beautifully appointed room and looked out over Forest Park which was a great bonus! We also enjoyed cocktail hour by the pool and the lobby bar for an after dinner drink. Fitness Center was great and enjoyed Room Service breakfast.

Could use a refresh

Great location, restaurants and shopping at the hotel and nearby but the rooms and hallways are in need of remodeling. Large but drab rooms and the furniture/drapes are really worn.

I expected more for the price of a room! Avoid The Tenderloin Room, $60 for a Ribeye. Table next to ours very loud and very foul mouthed. Room very average, decorative pillows were stained.

The room was great and everything was nice..the only thing was the service at the lounge ...the waitress forgot about us was too busy talking with the kitchen stuff and didn't really have an opinion on the food only asked what she suggested.

Dirty furniture, broken bathroom fixtures

Furniture noticeably dirty and really worn...room chair arms and sofa...also lobby furniture. Really should have pristine furniture for this class of hotel; bathroom fixture fallen to the floor...could see repairs had been attempted several times; bug bites on legs after sleeping!!! Only 2 glasses for a suite?!?!!
