Very classy

Cons: I would have preferred the bed to be softer.
The decor is lovely and all the staff was very friendly. We were upgraded to a small suite (not sure why) and the room was spacious and very comfortable. We got a good rate on the room so if we would get a similar rate during our next visit, we would definitely stay here again.

Noisy

Room 831 next to elevator and ice machine. Heard elevator going up and down through the wall. Room should be converted to a storage area should not put anyone this close to the elevator shaft!!! I believe hotels like this tag these sort of rooms for Expedia/Hotwire customers.

So kind and accommodating

Let's face it...I doubt most nice hotels cheer when they see a woman walk in with two kids in tow. Everyone from the front desk, valet, to restaurants employees could not have been more kind!! Highly recommend this place, and commend their staff for a fabulous visit!

Great luxury hotel

Wonderful amenities. The Chase has it all: Good restaurants, bars, live music available, cinema, spa, close to shops in th CWE neighborhood. One-bedroom suite was comfortable, quiet, and appreciated.

This is the best place to stay when the temp is so cold. You can enjoy a special dinner at the Tenderloin Room and watch a movie at in house theater without needing to get out in the cold.

Our second stay

Pros: Location, previous experience
Cons: Personnel. Follow-through requests promptly; they staff was very slow in general throughout our stay.
This was our second time staying at the Chase Park Plaza. First time we loved the location, its seasonal decor and stores surrounding it, we wanted to enjoy the same experience the second time. Unfortunately this was a HUGE disappointment. The given room was so much smaller than what we had anticipated - for this size and comfort, we absolutely would have stayed elsewhere. This room felt dated - and we like old fashioned. The worst part: Our second night, the next door flooded around 11pm. The workers were very loudly handling the situation in the hall way through 4am; we hardly slept. We slept in that morning and left our room at 12:30pm after calling housekeeping to request clean-up, and - it was never cleaned. We had to call in for more toilet papers and clean towels when we came back late that night. Overall impression was that they were understaffed for the number of guests they were hosting for the New Years party. Never again will we stay there after Christmas.

The hotel had a lot of character.

The hotel had a lot of character. The staff was very nice but we were disappointed in the room because our bed did not have a cover on it and the sheets were not tucked in. It kind of looked like someone had been on the bed and it wasn't straightened back out.

best hotel in St. Louis

Pros: Eggs Benedict special at Preston's, quiet luxurious room, beautiful Christmas decorations, movie theater preview of "LaLa Land"
Cons: It's hard to improve on perfection.
Location: An easy drive to the Hill for my favorite Italian restaurants
Lovely room, cordial staff, loved restaurants and bars and movie theater

Close to downtown

The hotel lobby is very nice but the suites were very outdated. The shower floor needed repairing. The telephone was filthy. The beds were very comfy. The only room service is breakfast which is served from 6 am to 10 am. The movie theater was very nice. The Christmas decorations were nice.
