I chose the Hotel Majestic because of the amenities and it appeared to be high end. Upon arrival I noticed there was construction being done which can be a nuisance but I understand remodeling needs completing. The young man at the front desk was very helpful and friendly, however he informed me that the bar/restaurant that was one of the features that attracted me had been permanently closed and room service was not an option. The room had a peculiar odor and the furniture was tarnished. To add to the disappointment, there was a loud disturbance/fight that occurred in the front lobby. The Hotel Majestic was not what I expected on any level and therefore I decided not to stay.
