The staff was very nice. The hotel is currently renovating, so it was a little messy, but that's expected. My room was very nice. I enjoyed my stay.
Located in St. Louis's Central West End neighborhood, The Parkway Hotel is in the city center and near a metro station. The area's natural beauty can be seen at Forest Park and Missouri Botanical Gardens and Arboretum, while World Chess Hall of Fame and St. Louis Science Center are cultural highlights. Check out an event or a game at Chaifetz Arena, and consider making time for St. Louis Zoo, a top attraction not to be missed. Break out the clubs and hit the links with a golf course and golf lessons nearby, or seek out an adventure with hiking/biking trails. Our guests appreciate the hotel's central location.

Because of the pandemic scare going on, it’s hard to review this hotel. Overall it was nice and fairly clean. Location was very convenient as we were going back and forth between room and hospital. The rooms seemed clean but did notice that our room was never vacuumed during the 6 night stay. They tried hard to provide a nice breakfast and with all the current restrictions, it wasn’t too bad. The staff was very nice and courteous. There were many restaurants and bars close by but most were closed because of the restrictions. I will defined stay here again if I ever have to be at Barnes Hospital. This property is soon to be a Doubletree Hotel that was advertised but nobody knew when Doubletree would take over. Front desk staff was very nice and very helpful. The Applebee’s attached to the hotel was convenient too, food was awesome as was staff depending what crew was working there. Most visits To Applebee’s were great but did have one bad experience with a different crew working that night. I would definitely recommend this hotel and a must if going to Barnes Hospital.
