Staff was polite. Front desk was extremely nice. Unfortunately we had to ask for washcloths on four separate occasions. We received clean bath towels but not washcloths. The only other issue was staff came to take pictures of the lamps in the bedroom so they could see what style they were. Then they returned later to put in updated lamps. I understand upgrading but we were leaving in two days. It could have waited until we left to be replaced.

We were extremely disappointed with this property. The beds were extremely uncomfortable. If you stood under the shower for an hour you still would get entirely wet as the shower that only tripped water, absolutely no pressure no matter what time of day you tried to shower. Of all the staff we dealt Hillary-Anne was the only one that was a pleasant and happy. The rest of the staff including management we either rude or unhappy or both. This is the worst property we have ever stayed at in our 30 years of traveling.

The property has an attractive pool in the interior courtyard area and provides a buffet breakfast in the morning that is enjoyable. Rooms were clean and spacious and had good-sized balconies. Also, the property was within short walking distance of most of the hotels and shopping in Rodney Bay and within walking distance, though a longer walk, of the marina. This property is one of three different properties with "Bay Gardens" in its name. I thought I was booking "Bay Gardens Beach and Spa Resort" that is right on the beach but accidently booked "Bay Gardens Hotel." The Hotel provides hourly shuttle service to the Beach Resort and you can use their amenities, but the photo of the beach included in the description of the Hotel is deceiving. Depending on the cost differential between the Hotel and Beach Resort, I would consider staying at the Hotel again.

Great property. Lovely food & comfortable rooms & 4 small pools to choose from & also loved that you can eat in all the other hotels. Only negative is that the food service is super slow, particularly at the beach restaurant at the beach hotel, over an hour & a half wait each meal which wasn’t great with hungry young kids!

Beautiful property beautiful people..absolutely enjoyed my time at this hotel . Very clean most of the staff are friendly… few not so much . Be sure to collect your receipts when paying the hotel tax , unfortunately I didn’t receive on upon payment when I arrived and during check out they asked me to pay again which I declined because I had already paid ! Overall stay was wonderful.

I booked 2 superior double rooms in the Bay Gardens Hotel, Gros Inlet St Lucia. The booking was confirmed (Itinerary # 72767311320885) by Expedia. However, when we arrived at 4.00 pm, the rooms weren't available - so we waited. When we enquired one hour later we were allocated 1 superior double room in Bay Gardens Hotel and 1 superior king room in Bay Gardens Inn. We were unhappy with being split across two sites and immediately complained. We were told that the hotel was full and that all they could offer was either a standard double in the hotel or a superior king in the Inn. We thus had no alternative but to be accommodated away from our friends in different hotel in a room half the size and with a small tv. After further complaints we were offered a complimentary dinner but this was little redress for the hotel's failure to honour the contract confirmed by Expedia. We finally met up with our friends (one of which has a gluten intolerance) for dinner. Despite mentioning the fact in the on-line check in and again at reception, the gluten free order of spaghetti bolognaise did not arrive at the table until the other three had finished their main course. We remain very unhappy with our experience and trust that Expedia can intervene on our behalf

It was very dated and badly designed. Couldnt get a late checkout even for one hour. Had no balcomny only a window that looked into corridor so had to jeep curtains closed. Was noisy, toilet leaked, tub looked old and patched. Would never stay at this property again. Ever. Staff was very nice though, and none of this was their fault.

We enjoyed our stay overall. The food options were limited but quite good food. There is only 1 bar so if you want to sit around one of the other pools it is quite a walk to get a drink. Staff were very friendly. The grounds were spread out in multiple building and the walk between them was pretty. The location was convenient to walk to the bank for local currency, shopping and restaurants. Going to the sister beach resort was easy using the shuttle. However, DO NOT stay in the Croton Superior room. There was nothing superior about it! The only window looked out to an enclosed hallway. It felt claustrophobic! There was no dresser to unpack our clothes so we had to live out of our suitcase. Although there were black out drapes, there was a clear glass transom over the door and the light from the light fixture beside the door meant that it was not dark in the room. If I were to go back I would definitely choose a different room!

Key staff members at checkin, bar and shuttle are excellent. Small quaint property with 3 pool areas to choose from and very relaxing vibe. I see why many guests return each year. Great spot for shopping and dining nearby.

I really enjoyed my recent Stay at the Bay Gardens Hotel. The check-in process was welcoming and easy. I was very happy with the cleanliness of the room and housekeeping. The food was decent and had a wide variety. The staff of the restaurant was mostly friendly. My only suggestion is some training for restaurant staff. For example, I booked half board and was told I could only eat in the buffet while another party was told they could have ordered off the menu. Consistency in what is communicated to guests is imperative to the overall experience. Apart from that I had no issues. I love that there is a shuttle to take guests to the Beach. This was not my first time at Bay Gardens, and it wouldn't be my last. Oh yes, I traveled with my nine-year-old and he was super impressed.

Some members of staff were extremely helpful, while a minority were not. The complimentary breakfast was marginally satisfactory, but there is a need for more options to accommodate the growing focus on healthy eating.

The property shows its age but it was fine. Enjoyed my stay. I would come again. the breakfast was good. staff was friendly.

We liked having a kitchenette and that we had infrequent neighbours. We liked the size of the hotel. We liked that meal plans were optional. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Loved the fact they had table tennis. Very happy with the free shuttle service to sister hotels.
