Wonderful dining staff and chefs...Posted Nov 16, 2015
Cons: The water activities....the paddle boards were not in commission and needing to be fixed.
Location: Ocean and beach 😀
This resort is amazingly accomdating for my dietary needs! The chefs Caniah, Johnny and Marco were great! I loved this place and can't wait to go back.

Pros and ConsPosted Sep 14, 2015
Pros: Very clean and quiet.
Cons: Better beach chairs and later check out.
Loved our vacation there. Loved all the cats but wish they took better care of them. It's a beautiful resort but they should do something about all the people leaving things on the pool beach chairs and being gone for hours. Sometimes there was no two chairs together to sit on. Check in was awesome but check out was awful.

Very good resort with attentive staff.Posted Jul 12, 2015
Pros: Very well maintained and good quality of food and drinks on offer.
Cons: Transport from the airport was not ideal and the vehicle used rather uncomfortable.
Location: In the resort was good, however other than arranged trips there was nothing else to do in the area.
Nice to have the option to visit/experience other Sandals resorts on the island.

Pros: The staff was very accommodating and friendly.
Cons: Clean the mold off the tile at the main pool. Improve the quality of the mattresses. Update the facility.
For the cost of the stay the room was not what was expected. It was a smidge above a Motel 6. Mattress was hard. Bathroom was basic, nothing extra. On the other hand the people were very friendly and everything you needed they try to help you with.

A quiet stayPosted Jun 26, 2015
Pros: The paradise pool and bar.
Cons: Maybe some different entertainment choices but we did see some great performers.
Location: Great snorkling options out of the dive center. also dont miss the saturday food and craft market down town. A true taste of the local culture.
Great resort overall especially if you just want some quiet and relaxation. Not nearlly as busy as the Grand.

Beautiful gardensPosted May 19, 2015
Pros: We enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere, Had a lot of fun at the pool where we participated in the activities that we offered.
Cons: The bathrooms could use an update. They were clean but a little dated.
Location: Did not enjoy the long, long ride from the airport to the hotel. An hour and one half up and down twisting roads. Was not much to do near by.
We had a very relaxing time at Sandals Halcyon. The gardens are beautiful, very well maintained. Pool area was quiet and relaxing. We were disappointed in the beach area as we are beach people. The other two Sandals had very nice beaches which we did visit.

Nice resort and close to the ocean.Posted May 4, 2015
Pros: The resort was very pretty and the staff was great!
Cons: Food could be much better as well as the entertainment, especially being a Sandals.
Location: Casteries is close as well as Rodney Bay. Really enjoyed shopping at Rodney Bay Mall.
This resort needs better entertainment at night, quite disappointed as we were told it had live nitely entertainment. Not So!

First trip to Sandals.Posted Mar 18, 2015
Pros: staff, and food
Cons: Could use some sprucing up.
Location: We never do tours.
This was our first experience with Sandals and to be honest they were just as expected. Food was plentiful and we liked some restaurants and one we didn't but that's usually the way it goes at resorts with multiple restaurants. Staff was very friendly and attentive, room was a little small. We booked the honeymoon hideaway suite pool level. All in all we would look into other Sandal's resorts but it's getting to the point were we probably are going to stay somewhere closer to N.Y. ( in the Caribbean) as they are all starting to look the same.

No luxury here........Posted Mar 2, 2015 on Hotels
Very tired hotel - if you are expecting 'luxury' from a sandals resort you will not get it here
