"The best place to stay on St Lucia"
Beautiful gated resort, however it's the staff that really impress. Faultless.

"Great accommodation with caring Staff"
On arrival one meets a welcoming team. I got a great welcome drink and met warm caring staff through out my staff. Great view of the beach and the ocean from my room! Food was excellent! Choice of continental breakfast plus local foods incase one wanted to try it. Lunch and dinner with great choices. The waiters in the restaurant were all courteous and always willing to assist. They remembered that I liked very hot coffee and I did not have to keep repeating my request. The Security guards while they were "rounding" would also inquire if I needed any help or tell me of activities that happen at the hotel in case I did not read the daily activities scheduled. Oh the bar!! Great cocktails were served!!! The front desk staff were the best!!!! I would recommend this hotel for a vacation and I would revisit again.

"Stay here!!! "
Being well seasoned travellers and my 40th birthday being the occasion for this particular trip, we wanted to make sure that we stayed in a fantastic hotel without breaking the bank. We therefore booked this hotel based on the excellent recommendations that we saw both on Expedia and Tripadvisor. I’m very pleased to say that we felt extremely impressed and touched by the professionalism, friendliness, kindness and sincerity of each and every single member of staff that we encountered during our stay. We felt that each member of staff simply wanted to make sure that we enjoy our stay in their home – that is the Cappella, and also St Lucia. What we also really appreciated was that each member of staff got the balance exactly right between making us feel very welcome without encroaching on our space. We did stay in the Anse Le Raye Hotel on our final 2 nights on the island and although it was a great hotel, the Cappella was far superior in terms of value for money and also service. Either way, based on our wonderful trip we have decided that we will most certainly return to St Lucia and when we do we will most certainly be stay the Cappella. Our only hope is that when that time comes, the quality of the service and the general upkeep of the hotel will be exactly the same (or even better). General praise aside, a few things worth knowing are as follows: Welcome: we were given a real heartfelt welcome from James, which was really appreciated after a 9 hour flight from London and

"Relaxing anniversary"
The hotel was great. Since this was all inclusive we were a little worried about the food options. We were not disappointed. There are standard options each day (buffet, deli). There are also options that change each day which helped to keep the food options fresh and the food itself was above average to great. Hotel staff was friendly and some even went above and beyond to ensure you were taken care of. Beach was very clean and staff were all hard working (very impressed with the work ethic). Hotel room as above average, but not outstanding. Rooms need some basic maintenance to fix some minor issues, but nothing that would impact the overall experience. The crew that cleaned the rooms were outstanding! Finally, the spa treatments were phenomenal!!! You get a treatment everyday you are there (not including travel days). I would recommend reviewing all the options instead of taking what they give you. This is the one thing we wish we would've done as some treatments we would've swapped if we had it to do over again.

"Excellent villas on a private beach"
We stayed at Cap Maison the last week of June. Upon arrival, after a long day of travel, we were greeted with champagne and cold towels. We were delighted to find that our one bedroom villa with private pool had been upgraded to a villa with a rooftop pool and amazing view of the bay. Everything at Cap Maison was exceptional, from the grounds, restaurants to the private beach. We would not hesitate to return to Cap Maison in the future. Our only regret is that we were not able to stay longer!

"Very private, great for a relaxing vacation"
This is by far the best resort I have ever stayed in. I was not sure if a small resort would be for me but I am glad I made the decision to stay here. I read plenty of reviews and they were all accurate. This place is heaven on earth. Great pool, beach, food, drinks, staff and the grounds are amazing. We also had awesome massages. I have stayed at larger resorts where there are no pool chairs after 9 a.m., shortage of pool towels and premixed frozen drinks....Calabash Cove has NONE of those issues. The resort is top notch, every meal 5 star and service was amazing. Other places I have stayed on other islands the staff act like they are doing you a favor, NOT HERE...this staff is kind and polite and couldn't have made our trip any better. They go out of their way to make sure you are happy. The manager is always visible and making sure you are happy as well. To no fault of the resort though this is not near many of the attractions (Pitons, sulfur springs and waterfall area) and the roads of very hilly and windy making a long car trip not very fun. But if you want a small place to relax with plenty of yummy food and drinks this is the place. I can't wait to go back. I am letting you know (cause I couldn't find this out before I came there) they do allow dressy shorts for men in the dining room for dinner. Also some sites say this is adult only. It is not and for one day I saw three children. Mostly a couples resort. Not handicapped accessible.

"stunning adult oasis."
overall GREAT experience. Large rooms with stunning views. PHENOMENAL SERVICE at Jade Mountain & their affiliate resorts from arrival at airport till we boarded the flight with a smile. They even gave us a cell phone to be able to ring our majordomo (butler) - to take care of any needs small or large. They took care of everything for us. Jade Mountain is an adult hotel high up in the mountain - so not "accessible", but i loved the exercise and the fact that i didn't hear screaming children! Beautiful beach with nearby reefs to snorkel, water activity equipment handy, daybeds, etc. They had all sorts of other activities to do, but my husband kept it low key. Truly felt like i was in a tropical oasis, on vacation, and able to relax. They had a sister property, Anse Chastenet, which we could access their amenities and was beautiful, as well, but more family friendly. We will definitely be back!

"Nice hotel close to beach"
Blu is a nice hotel with very friendly staff. Our rooms were very nice and clean. Love the in-room espresso maker! The staff responded immediately to our needs. Pool and facilities were good, a little TLC here and there would move this hotel to a 4 star. Location is great. short walk across the street to the beach or into Rodney Bay. Food (breakfast)was very good, we did not do the all inclusive wanting to experience the local fare as well. Breakfast was great each day. Fresh and plentiful. They arranged taxis anytime we needed one. They are very knowledgeable about the area.

St. Lucia Resorts & Spa Travel Guide

Planning a trip to the eastern Caribbean Sea is a fun adventure in itself, but once you get to St. Lucia, your exhilaration will soar in this spectacular independent island country. Since 1979, the island has been part of the United Kingdom’s Commonwealth of Nations, but throughout history, St. Lucia was governed by both the French and British empires. France named the island Saint Lucia after Saint Lucy of Syracuse, and England referred to her as Helen of the West Indies. Today, the island awaits you with open arms to indulge in her beauty and fabulous St. Lucia resorts to pamper you.

The Best Time to Visit St. Lucia

When traveling to the Caribbean, expect the warm tropical paradise you crave, with temperatures fluctuating between 70 and 90 degrees Fahrenheit throughout most of the year. From December to May, St. Lucia experiences the driest period while an increase in rainfall typically occurs from June to November. At any time of year, the rainforests on the interior of the island might be warmer with higher humidity. However, the majority of the beaches receive welcome and cooling trade winds.

The Natural Beauty and Culture of St. Lucia

A premier site in the Caribbean Sea is the looming Piton peaks. Whether you decide to hike these fantastic volcanic land formations with a hired tour guide or just enjoy their beauty from afar, the Pitons are visible from many points in the southwest and truly are a remarkable sight.

At Pigeon Island National Park, there is much to see and do. You can take a two-minute stroll from St. Lucia’s northwest coast across a sandy causeway constructed for easy access to the park. For a nominal fee, you can spend the day enjoying the beaches and picnic areas, or delve into a local bar and grill for an appetizing array of sandwiches, salads, and many other delectable choices.

The annual St. Lucia Jazz and Arts Festival is generally a 12-day event in April or May that offers an array of fun cultural events. The festivities stretch through the region from the Pigeon Island National Landmark to rustic village settings such as Fond D’or Heritage Park in Dennery and the tranquil Port Castries waterfront setting of the La Place Carenage.
