"Great hotel - excellent location"
Location, facilities staff and value for money excellent - we will go again. Food selection and quality was disappointing so we had no choice but to eat out a couple of nights.

"Dated but great amenities!"
As soon as we arrived to the hotel after a 16 hour journey the front desk insisted we MUST have a printed copy of our reservation, which luckily my husband printed off before we left. Wasn't the most pleasant greeting. The room was nice, bed was very comfortable but bathrooms were dated in places; the tiles in the bathroom the grout was eroding and stained dirty. The food was pretty decent for being an all inclusive hotel, I enjoyed every meal I had although none of it was over the top delicious. The biggest annoyance we had with the hotel was that they only served tap water so even when you were in your room the only access you had to water was out of the bathroom faucet which I personally find gross. I don't mind drinking tap water at the restaurants when it's been chilled but I really would prefer a bottled water in my room. Also, we payed to upgrade to the French restaurant for $70 and it wasn't worth it at all. My pan seared fish had soggy skin on it and my creme brûlée was like scrambled eggs. Creme brûlée is the most notorious French dessert, the chefs really need to learn how to properly make it. Best restaurant was Morgan's Pier! Overall it was an amazing stay though because they have so many activities planned everyday and the watersports are great! The Wednesday beach party was also amazing! There were a few annoyances but those were so minor compared to how much fun and accommodating everybody was. We were definitely happy we chose this hotel!

"Best Honeymoon!"
I just got back last night from a wonderful trip to St. Lucia. After weeks of researching I finally took a chance and booked our honeymoon at Calabash Cove Resort and Spa. My husband agrees, it was such an amazing experience. We were treated with such care and great hospitality. They knew it was our honeymoon and upgraded us from a pool suite to a cottage suite in front of the ocean. OMG! This was the most peaceful vacation I have ever been on (and I lived in the Caribbean years ago). We had a romantic dinner on the pier and a couples massage on our last night. While we went out for our last dinner the lovely ladies who took good care of us decorated our suite with flower petals, prepared the jacuzzi with bubbles and candles, left a plate of desserts, and a bottle of champagne. What a great surprise! The food was incredible, there was not one thing I disliked. I think I gained 5 lbs. but it was worth it. One morning my husband asked for mango juice which wasn't even on the menu and the waiter made it happen. We even paid for a private tour of the island. If you want to avoid the crowds, make sure to ask for Francis. This man knows the island inside and out and is a great tour guide. Too many people to mention by names, but again Thank you Calabash for making our stay a wonderful memory.

"Must stay here!"
We stayed at Ti Kaye for our honeymoon. One of the most amazing places we have ever stayed. The pictures do not do justice, at all. The resort is gorgeous and well kept. We loved how they are making advances to be green. They give you reusable bags, water bottles and make their own water, to mention the small things. The resort is quite secluded, tucked in the coastal jungle, which allows you to get closer to nature. We even saw night herrons eating crabs on the beach one night. There is plenty to do at the resort, they give you a lot of options for excursions and things to do at the resort. If you want to go into town or anywhere off the resort, they can organize a shuttle for you, so don't worry about being stuck there. The food was unbelievable and fresh. They have ingredients dropped off 5 times a week. They have a different menu every night to keep you interested. They do special a special 5 course seafood meal which you must make reservations early to get in! The chef is creative and is a true artist. Don't miss happy hour, they offer a free small appetizer, which we kept coming back for. The staff was friendly, courteous and professional. They make you feel welcome and are beyond helpful. You really get to know the staff over your stay and look forward to talking with them. Thank you to everyone! The room was beautiful with crazy views. The outdoor shower is majestic. The rooms are clean and they keep them clean during your stay.

St. Lucia Resorts & Spa Travel Guide

Planning a trip to the eastern Caribbean Sea is a fun adventure in itself, but once you get to St. Lucia, your exhilaration will soar in this spectacular independent island country. Since 1979, the island has been part of the United Kingdom’s Commonwealth of Nations, but throughout history, St. Lucia was governed by both the French and British empires. France named the island Saint Lucia after Saint Lucy of Syracuse, and England referred to her as Helen of the West Indies. Today, the island awaits you with open arms to indulge in her beauty and fabulous St. Lucia resorts to pamper you.

The Best Time to Visit St. Lucia

When traveling to the Caribbean, expect the warm tropical paradise you crave, with temperatures fluctuating between 70 and 90 degrees Fahrenheit throughout most of the year. From December to May, St. Lucia experiences the driest period while an increase in rainfall typically occurs from June to November. At any time of year, the rainforests on the interior of the island might be warmer with higher humidity. However, the majority of the beaches receive welcome and cooling trade winds.

The Natural Beauty and Culture of St. Lucia

A premier site in the Caribbean Sea is the looming Piton peaks. Whether you decide to hike these fantastic volcanic land formations with a hired tour guide or just enjoy their beauty from afar, the Pitons are visible from many points in the southwest and truly are a remarkable sight.

At Pigeon Island National Park, there is much to see and do. You can take a two-minute stroll from St. Lucia’s northwest coast across a sandy causeway constructed for easy access to the park. For a nominal fee, you can spend the day enjoying the beaches and picnic areas, or delve into a local bar and grill for an appetizing array of sandwiches, salads, and many other delectable choices.

The annual St. Lucia Jazz and Arts Festival is generally a 12-day event in April or May that offers an array of fun cultural events. The festivities stretch through the region from the Pigeon Island National Landmark to rustic village settings such as Fond D’or Heritage Park in Dennery and the tranquil Port Castries waterfront setting of the La Place Carenage.
