STAFF VERY CUSTOMER FOCUSED. 1ST - CHEF VERNON! AKA 'BICYCLE'. SUPER! 2ND - SHERVELLE & PAUL...KAINYER....AENATHA.......LIVEEY AT FRONT DESK....MY GIRL WHO SHOWED ME THE KIZZ DANIEL DANCE...Can't remember her name right now(sorry) My husband & I were there for my 60th birthday. These persons made the stay memorable...especially Chef Bicycle. Thanks again!

Me and my boyfriend stayed there in March 2023, the actual facility is bit outdated, the rooms could do better with upgraded furniture and tech devices but the stay was amazing. The hotel staff was friendly, very attentive, very courteous, they pay attention to details and make sure all your needs are cover. The food serve in the restaurants was very tasty, yes you do need to make reservations every day in the morning but when you get there you get to do reservations for 4 nights in a row which is very good depending on the amount of days of your stay. The only downside that we found is that the hotel don't have a lot of activities, like in other Caribbean islands there are lounges and discotheque this one doesn't have one but you can always go outside of the hotel and find good spots for dinner and entertainment.

We were checking out on the third to last day the resort would ever be open. The five restaurants were limited to one. The staff was severely cut back and it was hit or miss if they were friendly or rude- honestly I couldn’t blame them seeing they were losing their jobs. The facilities were not being up kept as they appeared they had in the past- Cushions left stacked instead of being put out, lawns becoming overgrown, water sports equipment with broken straps. Overall I’m disappointed that I booked a 4 star resort for my honeymoon without knowing this was heppening and got a 1/2 star experience.

The area was clean and quiet but it was not much to do. Also, they did not clean the room’s daily. Also, I wish there were a lot more thing you could do and they need to add more shopping area.

The place is closing next month and the services .. dining options ..alcohol was limited and activities. Had to wait 2/3 hours to get meals in the restaurants. Only 2 each night was opened . The food was the worst I’ve had at any other resort. It’s a beautiful place but was disappointed . The staff was very friendly and accommodating

The grounds and setting on the beach are paradise on earth. The room was a bit dated but clean. There's a variety of dining selections, but you must plan and make reservations ahead as not all of the facilities are open every night. The staff go out of their way to be accomodating which make my experience all the more enjoyable.

From what I hear this property is for sale which makes sense for the low staff. The average dinner takes over 2 hours. There are few working the pool bar and no bar is set up for the swim up pool. Top shelf liquor costs money, there is no mini bar in the room. Pinot Noir is considered top shelf. They do not provide bottle water but have filtered water everywhere and I understood why after a day. Having said all the negative I’ll give the positive. The staff that work are mostly amazing. The property is small and beautiful. The views are amazing and I did enjoy myself. I would absolutely go back to St Lucia but not sure I would stay here again but I might depending on price and knowing what I know now

I was very surprised that the majority of staff were inattentive and borderline rude. I did not experience this in other Caribbean islands. Two times in our stay staff actually rolled their eyes when we were asking a question. My friend visited the concierge to inquire about the spa. She was told that that information had been left in her room! Seriously? There was never a sense of pride in the property exhibited by the staff and they had a "zero" ability to market anything from food to the spa to the fact they had a great Hilltop Bar by the pool to watch the sunset. But get this, the bar closed at 6 p.m. BEFORE sunset. What? If they were smart they would market that sunset with signage. Perhaps "Enjoy wine and cheese while watching the sunset". And if staff learned to smile and be nice, they would have that bar packed and be making a bunch of tips. They just didn't care, in my view.

Overall, the stay was amazing. The view of the ocean and the staff was amazing. The food was hit or miss. The only issue that I had was the beds were listed as two queens. They were more like two full size.

The food was minimal on the buffet and the dinner reservation system was not guest friendly. We ended up not able to try everything because it was either closed or booked up way in advance. Bathrooms & guest rooms are in need of renovations which I hear they will receive soon.

The property was built in 1992 and last renovated in 2012. Our deluxe ocean view room was comfortable but showed a lack of the usual amenities. In fact we had only a partial ocean view. For example there was a refrigerator in the room but no minibar. The was no Kleenex or facial tissue in the room and it wasn't available on site. The bathroom sink was cracked and leaked into the drawer below but the maintenance staff quickly repaired it. The shower was oversize but the water splashed out onto the floor. The shower floor was extremely slippery and should have had a bath mat. I had a great deal of trouble regulating the room temperature and finally resorted to standing on the chair to turn the unit on and off. The grounds are beautiful. Its hilly and may be difficult for some to walk. The pools were beautiful and uncrowded. Often there was loud Caribbean music blaring from the speakers near the bar. The resort was definitely not ADA compliant. The were no elevators to be found and the units were 3 stories tall. The staff were extremely efficient and helpful. Watersports like kayak, paddleboard and sail catamaran were on site and free except for motorized sports. There was a good choice of restaurants on site and the food was quite good compared to other all inclusive resorts we have visited. We learned the the property was sold and will become an adults only Secrets resort later in 2023.

Did not like the place and staff was so unfriendly, it was hard ask anything because the looks we get that we bother them, especially woman, angry faces and commence I would not recommend this place, and food is horrible, even restaurant that you have to pay additional $35, the same wine as in all the bars for free, food exceptionally disgusting

Reserving for reservation diner was difficult you must book 72hrs in advance which is Ridiculous if you only there for 5 days stay so I was not able to try one of the specialty restaurants. The shower flooring deep step and slippery with nothing to hold on to to prevent falling. Im glad my room was in a perfect location. Touring the property with the tour guide lots of incline hills to get to some rooms. No elevators. Stairs , some rooms located on the third and fourth floors. Nightly entertainments not consistent whats posted on the activities sheets for the week.

Well-maintained resort, very clean, rooms are renovated , bathroom was spacious and super clean. Loved having boiling water teapot and coffee maker in the room. We choose balcony with sea view/ocean front and it was really enjoyable feature. Night entertainment had good musicians and bands playing, not cheesy like in some hotels. Staff was nice and friendly . Food/restaurants had a few options, we found it to be just ok. Most restaurants needed to be pre-reserved, glad we had the option of doing it just once for the entire stay. The resort is located on the northern part of the Island, so it's about 1.5 hour car ride from and to the airport. There were no car rentals in the area, just keep that in mind if planning to rent a car, you can only do it on the south part of the Island near the airport. Overall we're very pleased with our stay.

Beach area is nice but water was not clear at all. Food and drinks are okay but one restaurant French where they charge extra $35 per person is not worth it. The service was extremely slow one hour wait for soup.

I found this all inclusive perfect for us. I travelled with my boyfriend and we were both very pleased and would book here again. The restaurants weren’t too far away. Activities were there, but not over the top and the drinks and food always Flowing. Staff is beyond personable too

Beautiful island. Entertainment staff was wonderful especially Ezekiel and Dexter.grounds are amazing and food is good for all inclusive. Plenty to do on site but many excursions to take in the island which is gorgeous.

The rooms and amenities within the rooms were antiquated. The ocean water looked like a mud puddle, and there was a dream with some kind of oil or fuel in it running through the beach. The people were wonderful, the food was decent, but getting decent reservations was difficult at the restaurants. If you’re looking for beautiful water, this resort does not have it. This should not be rated 4 star, it probably was 20 years ago. It is nice, but not worth the price.

Had to give the hotel a mediocre review. Not enough to really complain about. But also not enough to make me recommend the place. Special mention to most of the staff in the restaurants, bars, pool and beach, especially Genevieve (thankfully she was serving during most of our meals there) and Ezekiel at the beach. The two of them are by far the reason that I didn’t give this resort a below average rating. Also special thanks to Front Desk Manager, Charlene for making sure that the double billing they charged us by mistake was sorted out right before we checked out. Sadly, this mistake cost us a few hundred CADs (because of the worse FX rate on the refund) since it was almost $3K CAD that they also overcharged us. Speaking of front desk, the reviews here are right. The staff we engaged with there were not pleasant to deal with. STEFFIE, in particular is down right rude!!! Quite the opposite of Genevieve from the restaurant. Unluckily for us, she both checked us in and out. Took all my patience not to tell her off. Food is so so. Local Carribean dishes were hands down better than “International” ones. Buffet or otherwise. Pictures on the listing are from quite a few years ago. Be warned to set your expectations lower. Property is a bit dated. The shower design definitely needs to be addressed. Their attempt at the European style open concept didn’t work coz they lacked the more precise architecture needed for it. It flooded every time we showered.

Quality and Service have dropped
The resort quality and service has really dropped since we last visited 3 years ago. Food average and restaurants closed most of the day. They've done away with any premium alcohols in the restaurants (except in one place: the red door, but they ran out too!). Service is slower as less staff than previous. They have friendly staff who are willing to help. Shout out to Sasha the manager, and Gemiel and Cameron. Terrible process to book restaurants. Coffee shop understaffed and you often have to wait 15-20 minutes for a single coffee. Definitely not worth the money we spent to stay there. Will not be back.

All the people and staff were very friendly. The problem we had was they were always running out of different alcohol to make you a drink or wine at dinner. They run out of certain foods on the menu and not all the restaurants were open at night so you were limited were to go and to get a reservation.
